At the world pokemon championship, a huge move update was announced. This includes nerfing super strong moves like wing attack, counter, and steel wing. It also reduces the switch clock from 60 to 50 seconds.
This week is ultra league and sunshine cup. Sunshine cup is a 1500CP Great League featuring only normal, fire, grass, and ground typings.
In this video we go over my first sunshine cup team featuring a triple normal teambuilding strategy with dunsparce, pidgeot, and shadow girafarig

Short Version: Put a deposit down for a car at the end of July with a promise of it getting here end of August, beginning of September. That dealership did not get the car and kept delaying and trying to switch into other cars. I got fed up and did a search across all Ottawa. One I called got the exact make and model I wanted off the truck two hours before I called. I said I'll take it, signed the papers the next day and picked it up a few days later.

If you're up against talonflame in the lead and you lose in the case with ferrothorn here, I always find it best to throw a bullet seed then switch out with good timing to have some energy on ferro when you bring it back in. I've been doing this with my shiftry running snarl which is the same timing as bullet seed, throw one then switch to either my lickilicky or my quagsire to either take shields or scare off the talonflame then try to get back to shiftry to get more energy to hit talon with a foulplay when they inevitably bring it back in then switch to lickilicky to farm down.

@@mxxintjiig1025 I once led my Abomasnow into an enemy Talon. I was ready to throw a Powder Snow and dip but the opponent just blind sent in their Flygon assuming I would swap immediately. Needless to say that was a very easy game lol

@@breloommaster12 Very fortunate that was the case because anyone would just farm down and/or take a shield on or after your abomasnow then have flygon to deal damage to the backline.

Sunshine cup is actually kinda fun. You see a lot of Talonflames, but it has so many answers that it is not bothersome. For typing cups, it really makes a difference when the number of types is over 3. I hope they do more of that and less three and one type cups. Congrats on the channel growth by the way, I hope it keeps up. The content you are making is great.

@@AgusLearnsPvP I've dropped over 300 ELO in the last week or so and just did my sets today going negative all of them. I don't stand a chance in these limited cups and I can barely cut it in regular open league anyways. Thanks for the positivity regardless, but I don't think I'm good enough to do jt

I don't really see the value of Shadow Ball Lickilicky in this meta frankly; pretty much nothing gets hit by it. If you wanted to nuke something, you'd be better off with Solarbeam tbh since it can easily obliterate the Ground-types that would beat the other Rollout users and can easily force either shield advantage or switch advantage due to its sheer power.

Licky is the safe-swap against Fire types, especially Talonflame. So, you want to have something that does decent damage against Fire types on it.

@@ferdinandpurczeld234 except you kind of already beat Talon even with Body Slam alone so Shadow Ball is just not needed imo Solar beam's high energy did make dealing with Magcargo more awkward, but that just made me wish I had Earthquake which could also pressure Clodsire. There was never a situation where I wanted Shadow Ball when I could have used another move or even just another Rollout user instead like Dunsparce's Drill Run access or Miltank's Ice Beam access.

Lickilicky's role is as a safe swap. Shadow ball let's it hit everything but normals and dark for neutral damage. It would struggle to fulfil its role as safe swap if it couldn't hit everything for neutral damage, and body slam is really bad, even with stab. Nukes like earthquake and solar beam make licky more of a liability as a safe swap becaise if they are resisted, you can only throw body slams, which are poop. Basically, shadow ball is much more versatile and reliable, but it's all a risk man. Solar and earthquake can work great if the opponent isn't expecting it

@@NathanDavis508 that's just the thing; if I wanted a more "neutral" safe swap, I would rather use Dunsparce or Ice Beam Miltank as way more flexible safe swaps. As someone who tested all three Rollout users as safe swaps, not a single time I went "oh I wish my Lickilicky had Shadow Ball for this". I either preferred Dunsparce's coverage, appreciated Miltank's BETTER neutral play (Ice Beam is just better for this meta than Shadow Ball), or went pog as Lickilicky either Solarbeamed the crap out of the counter swap or farmed down to Solarbeam the next Pokémon instead. Don't use Shadow Ball Lickilicky in this meta; either use another attack, or use another Rollout user outright.

I've been running shadow abdomasnow, then double mudboys ABB and its pretty solid since abowmasnow is only weak to rock poison, fire, in this meta, poison mainly clodisre, fighting is bad but there's only obstagoon and vig, bug I don't think there are any and flying is talonflame or other ones get hit by the ice

Shut up about beating flyers lol, I'm running triple-flyer. I've played 2 sets without any Ferrothorn but they slaughtered me in Galar Cup with Gastrodon, A Ninetales, G Weezing. Use shadow Flygon and you can thank me later. No clue why pvpoke ranked the first one higher. The one person who ran it against me so far doesn't know why either.
