Condolences from America. The loss of Mr. Corbett, now brings the two Ronnies together again; and we shall now miss them both, as much as they will be missed in their beloved Britain. Treasures to be proud of. God Bless..........

So True Whiskey River!!...........there will never be another Ronny like these two. They will always be kings of their trade. Here we are in 2021 and I just still binge watch them on days that feel darker than I would like. God Bless Britain and I will miss these two treasures for the rest of my days. Lots of love from Texas!❤️

The two Ronnie's are the greatest but I was Pleased to see Ronnie C. doing well and the blackberry sketch made me lose it .Typical British comedy always intellectual and physical and no swearing and more thinking and better speech than anyone else I think. Very versatile are the Brits

That was great. Thank you so much to whoever uploaded this. I can't believe i just found out about this. The last two skits with the name play in conversation and the church singing were absolutely brilllaint.
@thefan974 Жыл бұрын
The name play sketch was just a re enactment of the exact same sketch the 2 ronnies did with pretty much the same script.

Thanks for posting I had no idea this existed. They were great writers the best. The church skit reminds me of my Mum watching songs of praise.. I'm afraid we shared the sentiment 😂

What ever he did it would never ever be the same without Big Ronnie Barker they were simply magic together, now both missed so much by all who grew up with them on the TV from the beginnings of their career . Heaven will be a lot brighter with them both up there having lots of fun & laughter together. Rest in peace

I thought the blackberry sketch, the game show, the optician restaurant, the cocktail party and the songs of praise parody were pretty good sketches. His timing is impeccable. I thought some of the other sketches at times the writing was a bit weak

That first sketch wasn't bad but it was bound to fall short of the real thing. When the other half of the show is missing who also wrote the sketches and was perhaps THE funniest man ever on TV, then it can never be the same. That being said the only bits which seemed to recapture that feel and level of humour of the 2 ronnies was the monologue and the news because of course that's all from ronnie Corbett himself who most certainly could still do what he did best but just didn't have his ol partner with him

Quite often I say that the heyday of British comedy was between the 70s to the 90s. The staples of anything from 2000 onwards is bland, vulgar jokes and political correctness. The result is u look at this show from 2010 and you look at an episode of the 2 ronnies from 1980 and it seems like British comedy has gone backwards by about 30 years.

Tbh I don't think anyone could write comedy the way ronnie barker did. So there was no chance for this to be anywhere near as good but still just very flat gags frankly. The monologue was the only bit I enjoyed coz that was just all ronnie Corbett himself

Stopped watching at 00:17, too many unknown actors presented as stars. No Ronnies. Thumbs down.
