From the States here: Greetings to the One Show. Thanks to Netflix we met Jonathan Bailey over on this side of the planet and we love him. Hopefully, his play does make it to Broadway. It would be a feast to see such a formidable actor on stage. In reading of Bailey, I am so proud how he is representing our LGBTQ community. This is a man of character and his humanity is just delicious to observe. I know there is so much more to see of him in the near future and can't wait. Clearly, I loved Season II of Bridgerton, binged it on a weekend... Yummm!

I really wanted to see "Cock" and despite being a tad envious I'm also very pleased you got to see and enjoy it. Besides the LGBTQ theme, which is part of the reason I wanted to see it, I really wanted to see Jonathan live. Ever since I saw him in "Crashing" in which he was fantastic, I've adored Jonathan. And whilst sexuality is in no way a defining characteristic nor is it why I love Jonathan, the moment I discovered he is gay I loved him even more (what can I say, he's hot! I'm not so delusional to think I'm ever going to marry him, but one can dream 😂). As you said, he's hilarious, he's so endearing, he seems very down to Earth and he's extremely talented! He's got the personality, the looks, and I think he's gonna have that big career 🤞🏻

Except that we know the exact context to this. When Taron and Hugh Jackman were shooting Eddie The Eagle, they became incredibly good friends (just watch the press they did together) and an artist on instagram took that and made a Wolverine artwork with Taron's face. That's when some random webnews made the first "OMG RUMOUR NEW WOLVERINE???????" clickbait thing. It's all about the money and the clicks. One time, the image with the arrows they showed here on the show was posted, since Taron was shooting a movie and wanted to send his friend something funny. What did the clickbaity pages nobody actually reads do? "OMG WOLVERINE NEW TARON RUMOUR???" They don't have any sources for their rumours. They ALWAYS talk about one or two fanarts from years ago and say nothing new in the slightest. Then even if nothing happens, they dig it up every 6 months and some other wannabe news site publishes an article on this topic with no change whatsoever. We can securely assume that Taron is telling the truth here.

He had to leave due to personal reasons. The tabloids went straight forward with some "broke up with gf" story of questionable credibility. They did have a short break once and got back together, however the gossip press wildly speculates that since they are both VERY busy in entertainment, they rarely got to see each other and decided to end it. Performing in a gut-wrenching play about heartbreak could become emotionally unviable, which would make the breakup theory carry some weight. It is uncertain though whether any of this is actually true.

Yeah. This tends to happen with regular shows where the hosts don't specifically do a lot of research to ask questions with. They'll be given a quick briefing with a couple of talking points and have a team to find the images and such tidbits. An interview with Ali Plumb is going to be much deeper. This show also served the purpose of introducing people to the play that know basically nothing about it.

From the States here: Every time I hear "Alex Jones" announced, I do an 'audio double-take'. To us, that name means a much different thing. For starters, your 'Alex' is VERY easy on the eyes, very pretty. Very fit, I think is how you'd say it. Or is "right fit" the expression? And, she seems to be a pleasant person, as well.
