I have a story about Grian’s YHS/EVO trauma, there’s no swearing (only panic attack), it’s set in Hermitcraft (season not specified) and it’s all Scarian fluff (it’s beautiful, Grian is blind cuz you know, watchers) The story: “I’m here, you’re ok now,” I felt him wrap his arms around my torso, careful to not hurt my wings. We stayed like that for a minute, Scar constantly trying to calm me from my traumatised state. “I’m gonna have to let you go to get someone to come, yeah?” That only made me want to hold him tighter. “No,” I said, my my voice barely audible beside shaky breaths, “I only want you.” I wrap my arms around what I assume to be Scar’s arm. Although I can’t see, that didn’t mean I couldn’t feel and hear the way someone felt. Scar let me hold him, his hands weaving through my hair. As I cried into his shoulder, I made the decision. I let go of Scar, still not speaking full sentences. “You can get someone to come over, but you have to stay.” He seemed okay with it, shuffling, probably shifting himself to be more comfortable so he could type for someone to come over. Probably X, he’s the one in charge. A vibration. The realisation hit me. I would now have to explain to someone the backstory behind my blindness. What am I doing? I don’t even know anymore. Knock. Absolutely not. Whoever is there, I don’t think you’re ready to hear it all. “Scar,” I called his name, barely a whisper. “I can’t do this.” “Yes you can, Grian. I know you can.” “No I can’t, Scar. I can’t explain my trauma. There’s too much of it.” Scar shifted his grip on me. Looks like I convinced him out of it. But someone was still going to have to explain why I’m crying. And I’m not doing it. But I don’t think Scar wants to either…
