That hair is either a genetic blessing or there are extensions in them. It's absolutely beautiful, but if your hair type isn't similar to hers to begin with, ain't no dietary changes that will magically make you have that hair. To claim otherwise is disingenuous.

I started giving Vienna a very small amount around 1 in smoothies but Genuine Health's customer service team would probably advise to wait until they are a teen because there's no research behind it. @Joyous Health and others: According to scientific studies, a lot of fermented foods give you stomach cancer. Kimchi and non-pasteurized pickles included. The exception is milk products like yogurt and kefir. The reason for that is, while bacteria ferment vegetables, they create toxic substances. Therefore, Joyous Health, don't you think it's a little reckless to tell people to eat plenty of fermented foods? What if I eat lots of kimchi following your advice and get stomach cancer ten years later? Or worse, I make my child eat it, too? Wonder about your thoughts on the issue.
@joyoushealth7 жыл бұрын
I haven't come across studies saying that before. Do you have a link to the study? There's a lot of research behind fermented foods and how they help proliferate beneficial bacteria in the gut which helps support everything from digestion, mood and our immune system!
@anaccount94397 жыл бұрын
@Joyous Health: I had to research thoroughly to come across those studies. Here are the names and conclusions of studies that tie fermented vegetable consumption to gastric cancer (Would have given links but they don't work for some publications. You can google the study names later): Study 1: 'Pickled food and risk of gastric cancer--a systematic review and meta-analysis of English and Chinese literature.' Conclusion: "Our results suggest a potential 50% higher risk of gastric cancer associated with intake of pickled vegetables/foods and perhaps stronger associations in Korea and China." Study 2: 'Fresh and pickled vegetable consumption and gastric cancer in Japanese and Korean populations: a meta-analysis of observational studies.' Conclusion: "The results of this meta-analysis provide evidence that a high intake of pickled vegetables may increase GC (gastric cancer) risk and suggest that a high consumption of fresh vegetables, rather than a large total amount of vegetables including pickled vegetables, is important to reduce GC risk." Study 3: 'Pickled vegetables and the risk of oesophageal cancer: a meta-analysis.' Conclusion: "...potential two-fold increased risk of oesophogeal cancer...". I'm sick with a harsh disease and gathered info about fermented foods for my own health. What I learned is, to be able to say "Eat this!" to a person, you need weeks or months of research. Even then you might be deadly wrong because nutrition is extremely complicated and should actually be personalized. That's why I hope you will lean more into research for your channel or better, maybe you could get a degree in nutrition/healthcare and become an expert. If you have that chance, it would make your channel better than others :)

1 banana between three people?? These smoothies must be very low in calories. And as your drinking them, and not chewing them, the amylase in your saliva isn't digestesting the food and so you'll be getting even less nutrients from them! Something to look into, if you don't chew your food amylase isn't made and therefore the digestion process is incomplete and not triggered fully.
