I’m glad your enjoying your time up this way. I’ve been living in Cairns for a very long time. Babinda does receive over 4,000mm of rain a year so you got to expect damp weather. In the summer it’s beautiful rain, rain, rain every day. Etsy Bay is a beautiful spot. You should also look at Kurrimine Beach also 👍👍

Honestly Graham you should go up there in January over our wet season. Yes it’s hot, wet, & humid. But it’s so beautiful, & so quiet. I live in Cairns been here for yrs.

@@grahamwhittaker8844 That’s so funny. I lived in Humpty Doo as well for 3yrs about 20yrs ago opposite the supermarket, & the wet season was absolutely beautiful. So many tourists miss the wet season. Nothing better then being at the Darwin Wharf watching the rain come over.
