Its kinda referenced that Escanor became ,,The One" against Estarossa in that fight because, if I remember it correct, the camera switched to Barthra for a split second as Barthra say something like: ,, Isn't it almost noon" and right after, I think it was Ban answered with :,,Yes" the camera went back to the fight, where Escanor holds his ,,Who decided that"-Speech 2. About that perception thing, it can be also seen when Escanor plays the ,,Galland-Game" right before Galland petrified, due to his commandment.
