@@januszjanusz2002 I loved The Witcher: Versus... Such a shame, that we can't play it anymore. The game died, but it wouldn't be the case if they were updating the game and adding more characters.

@@jarosaww2825 I used to love board games, but I just kinda stopped playing them. The only board game I play now is Monopoly and it's only with my gf, and there has to be alcohol involved lol. Would you recommend trying the Witcher board game if I don't really play board games?
@jarosaww28254 жыл бұрын
@@yumyumxd7276 in this reincarnation witcher is weird. It has straightforward "roll som die" fight mechanic, movement and turn sequence are not super complex either, quests are quite "fetchy". But I return to it every few weeks. It has something. The rhythm, the system of foul fate you need to overcome. And reward for completing a quest is often battered ribs, little coin and one good fate card. What I can see the digital version is 1:1 copy of boardgame, if it's not super pricey I'd suggest to check it first. To start picks Geralt, he's the one able to deal with most of the threats on his own, but kinda low on questing. Triss in quite powerful and cunning, good for second player. For third I'd take Yarpen, as he has team, able to do some nice combos greatly enhancing his capabilities. Dandelion main ability lays in avoiding combat and feasting on other player fame and glory, so best at max player count.

Actually this is the one game i have played before. it's quite decent, but after a while i got bored of it, so ultimately stopped. still have it on GOG tho

I have both the digital version and the board game. I enjoy playing the board game with others, but I really enjoy the digital version when I want to play by myself without so much hack and slash. I think this game is a bit more cerebral than the video game. That does not mean I don't thoroughly enjoy the video game. To me this version requires a bit more thought to play.
@honestr4 жыл бұрын
I've got the physical as well this digital game. The physical version is a lot more fun because you can play with your friends. As for the digital version, because there are so few players playing this, I could never find anyone wanting to play a online game, so I was stuck playing the single player versus computer. And let's just say... the AI of the computer is just horrible.

There's an android version too. It is not on the play store anymore but you can find an .APK on the internet. It plays really well, better than the PC version imo, because of the Touchscreen controls. The only bad thing is because it was pulled from the play store the online multiplayer doesn't work, but the solo vs AI and the hotseat mode work perfectly. Highly reccomend

@@leoli960 been a while but doesn't she also get a skill to skip the unfortunate events? Plus eventually she gets spells to rival Geralt in slaying monsters. Basically I only play with one extra rule; no Triss for anyone. Shame really that it lacks balancing (including for Geralt).
@leoli9604 жыл бұрын
@@ZhuDaoLong Yeah, unfortunate events are nothing to her and she can remove those tokens while Geralt sufferes a lot from them.
