Noise cancelling, in most cases, isn't great at cutting out ambient noise. It's more for constant tones, like the hum of a plane, in a car, etc. Testing these while playing a KZbin video isn't going to yield the proper results.

I got mine November 23, (5 days ago) and I'm loving them straight out the box, looks great, feels great, superb sound quality. I don't get all the features even though I'm using a OnePlus 8, I have to use the app and I still don't get Zen mode.

Same. Lots of features get lost from OnePlus 8 pro with new Upgrades. It's such a rip off! They roll out all these features at first, but as a long term user, or later buyer, you lose most of them within a year of Upgrades from the manufacturer. I hate their style! It's not cool. Then you watch a year old vids about the phone when it was new on the market, wondering why you don't have all the features they once were on the phone! it's fucked up!

Problem was, the firmware update was never installed while connected to the OnePlus 8 though i tried several times and it said it was. One try on the iphone did the update and i got all the features. Now it's working better on the oneplus 8.

Hey! What about the mics? How good are they in cancelling ambient noise? The problem with previous OnePlus buds was that the mics captured too much of surrounding noise while on call, so the person on the other end heard much of ambient noise and less of actual voice of the speaker. If you could share your thoughts or post a video comparing the mic quality of OnePlus Buds and OnePlus buds. Peace ☮️

The noise cancellation is spot on. Massive 40db reduction and clear audio when making calls in a noisy enviroment. Transparency mode also very good, with no need to remove your headphones to have a conversation and hear the other person clearly. General sound is excellent and the bass response and overall volume is really incredible.

Ive had these for almost 3 months now the sound and anc are great for the price, but the right ear bud started getting a lot quieter then the left one. I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbursh and its alot better now I dont know if its just me or if its a common problem with earbuds.

i bought one plus buds pro recently , my right ear bud is draining battery 10% faster than the left ear buds..Is this Normal or my buds are defective ? for example if both ear buds are 100% charged and after using them the left ear bud will be having 80% and right ear buds will have 70% battery left..i tested multiple times but the result is same..

@@kshitijmahajan6748 I messed up and got the Oneplus buds pro, I'm hoping they enable at least the aptX for better audio quality on other devices. One thing is for sure and that's I also don't recommend these unless you have a Oneplus phone. My old Oneplus Bullets have aptX codec and sound great on my Samsung Note. If they did a firmware update for these to enable a better codec for other phones they'll probably be really good.
