In the second episode, you can see Michonne is about to tell Rick about RJ, but hesitates and says that "EVERYONE" is ok after talking about Judith. She couldn't mention it to Rick because the emotional impact it would have on him would probably heavily affect him later in the show, whether it's him making an irrational decision to try and get back home sooner instead of playing the long game.

Then she ends up mentioning a thought about RJ in episode 4, maybe it will make Rick more confident and maybe play the waiting game or if he is granted exit

as much as i agree with your initial video about you not wanting to cover the spinoffs, i think you should cover atleast daryl dixon and the ones who live, dead city was ok but nothing to be excited over, i really think once the ones who lives wraps up you should do a recap of DD & TOWL

@@JustaWonderer419 I think the more likely reason is that the setting is a bit unique. We rarely see zombie apocalypse set in Europe and I honestly think it would be so much more interesting (if it were about the earlier stages of an outbreak) due to Europe not having as many guns as US.

This spin-off is actually great, it brought 3.3 million viewers on the premiere iirc, the premier was more viewed than the whole season 11 episodes, and while I do think waiting 1 week for each episode feels like a bum, I actually enjoy this spinoff. Great critics overall

I disagree with the last 2 seasons being stinkers without Rick and Michonne. They're objectively far better than Seasons 7-8 WITH Rick and Michonne. Since the new showrunner did a phenomenal job. S11 was also my favorite.

​@ImNotCrypto I found 11x13 - 11x24 to be the greatest combination of episodes in a row from the whole series. It was so consistently entertaining for me, loved Lance Hornsby, the Toby Carlson episodes, Acts Of God, Sebastian's death, the Variant Walkers, Outpost 22, Mercer's "time to fuck shit up" The finale was extraordinary too, Luke's death got me, Rosita, Daryl's speech to Pamela, Walker Hornsby, the Explosion, Negan's apology to Maggie, the final dinner, and then the return of Rick & Michonne. It was everything I could've asked for.

I stopped caring about Rick, and TWD generally, about the 11th time Rick yelled "Coral!" I read the comic up to ther whisperers, but then i sat on my tablet, the last of the Google Nexus 7" and i havent been able to afford a new one, and my phone is too small for comics. I'm shocked that this is even getting made. Still, if we get you making recaps, I'm happy to hear a truncated story from someone who isnt an idiot. Saves me having to sit through the inevitably horrible writing, which i appreciate.

If you just want to watch enough of the TWD series to prep for The Ones Who Live, this is what I’d watch to see Rick and Michonne’s journey: - All episodes up to 9x9 - 9x14-9x16 - 10x1 - 10x4 - 10x8 - 10x13 - 11x5 and 11x8 (for some Judith stuff) - 11x24 (just the ending scenes before the credits role)

Rick and Okafor were the pilots but becuase okafor just exploded right infront of rick..he couldnt control the heli since he was in shock and that is why nat was able to take the second shot on it which brought the helicopter down

I love this spinoff so far. Feels like a twd movie as first pitched. CRM feels like a good villian group for the series and I think it’ll be interesting to see how specifically Rick and Michonne handle something that massive scale. Also the new side characters seem so likable unlike the other spinoffs. Too bad they’ve been killed right away but I’m cool with it as long as the story is good. Luckily it is so far.

I was honestly surprised at how well I ended up liking the first two episodes, especially with the pacing as I figured they’d drag out the Richonne reunion all season. Set my expectations a bit higher after they’ve been down on the floor for a bit (the whole FTWD tailspin of a show put a real sour taste in my mouth towards the TWD universe as a whole). Somehow Rick looks 20 years younger in this show than he did in his last appearances in TWD.

I think it’s a good thing really. It gives each show its own individual style and character. I really like the short intense intro in the first few seasons of FTWD, which can strike fear into you. The opening theme for Daryl Dixon is really cool too, partially because if the music score that plays and the different animations too.
