I really appreciate how you combine the “how to do it” with its place in the history of jazz drummers!

I find some really good prog drummers utilize a strong jazz background to fill phrasing around the kit. Gavin Harrison is a great example. Blushdas and phasings similar to lick 1 and licks 4/5

the most pedagogic channels tend to have the least views I have noticed. Check out Rick Dior's channel, he is the best jazz drummer that you have never heard of, with hardly any subcribers

Pretty easy to understand sadly , theres no flashy things , he aint a "hot" chick dressing sexy for views etc great channels with real musicians dont have lots of views of sub 's ...

Totally agree. Bikinis trumps musicianship. It’s a struggle, but I for one enjoy producing material anyway (and I’m quiet sure the same goes for 80/20). I don’t want the “bikini-fans” anyway 😂😂

It's LRLLR kick. A left paradiddle ending with a R, then kick drum. Since he doesn't tell you what he's playing, you have to slow it down to 0.25 time and watch his sticks closely to figure it out.
