Some other useful bits of information for this fight: * Any casters that grab a feather in phase 1 can DPS the boss during phase 2 while dodging tornadoes. * The fiery rings spawn on the ground during the tornado phase. The flying team can use these to refresh their Wings of Flame buff. * This is especially important for mages, because once they hit 25 stacks they can spend the rest of phase 1 and all of phase 2 building up and maintaining a healthy Ignite stack. When the boss is on the ground in phase 3, they can Combust that ignite stack for huge damage. * Healers should cast damage spells on the boss during phase 3 = they'll get mana back from an ability only active during that phase.

I don't know why is so low views and likes on your videos, but your guides are great. They are was really helpfull on phase 1 of Cataclysm, and now i'm waiting for next bosses videos. TY, really appreciated

Good stuff. The info about the adds only spawn on 1 side after the first rotation and ignoring the first meteor will help us clean up our re-clear.

It's just the initial add spawn, I don't have the exact order memorized but it's something like 2 adds on each side first time, 2nd time 1 add spawns on right and then a bit after 2nd add spawns on left, and then 3rd time I think only 1 add spawns on the left. Don't quote me on that but just keep your eyes out and know the spawns after the first one should be much easier.

@@Bigolbktofwtr2 I have some questions for flying part of the fight. 1. How many ppls need to go there? 1 or two? It's very strange but we have 1 ring all time and i as wlock and my mate as mage we both can't get stacks just only 1 2. If we flying as 2 we need to get stack on air together to get stack of ring? We have some troubles at this point. We are casual guild we see FL 1st time and we kill alisra in normal mode. But on ur video u have 2 mages flying in the air. How they do ring things if just only 1 ring appears Ty for any advices. And srry for bad eng 😊

@НиколайВоробьев-х4й The rings have a small AOE that gives the buff when you go through them. So the 2 that go up need to be stacked tight with each other. Helps to put raid markers on the 2 that go up, to more easily see each other. Very similar to the dream phase of Valithria Dreamwalker from ICC in WoTLK.

@@НиколайВоробьев-х4й All good on the English, did great. We send 2 people into the air, and they need to stack and fly through the rings together. The opening is slim but it's do-able. Try to mark each person flying so it's easier for them to stack up in air. It'll take some practice but you should get the hang of it eventually.

For the people who are collecting rings would you happen to have any suggestions to improve collection accuracy? Found myself being inconsistent by either moving to far forward and missing them or not getting there fast enough when i sat back to see where theyd spawn

I collected a few rings myself this week, what I did was Zoom out far and aim your camera at an angle downwards. Fly near her tail. That way you'll see ring spawns and can quickly fly up or down to it. You dont need to be too precise flying through it you just need to get to it.

one thing that I learnt that made the most sense was use both your mouse buttons to move instead of w. The reason for this is that you're probably going to try and cast while moving and what can happen is you let go of that w key or just don't have the dexterity to get all your spells and if you don't keep up you'll fall behind quickly. You need to zoom out and stay right behind her

@knutter I did it last night on my warlock. try to fly a little bit behind the bird, and keep your camera around leveled with her. You'll see the explosions come out and then normally right after a ring appears. You've gotta get comfortable doing your rotation as you go but you should have plenty of time to get to them if you spot them right away. If you drop one ring it's not the end of the world, just keep going. Most classes just want to spam their most powerful ability after they've stacked up a bit. So mages do Pyro, Warlocks kinda just dot and use Drain Soul, Im sure shadow priests just dot and mindflay. Shouldn't be too hard to pick up after a few tries.
