i did this and now i can use my TV again. when i mean use i mean when i followed the last step ( 3:30 ) the whole picture tube disintegrated, leaving the bright white LED backlight panel. i don't need to buy a new TV because now i have a lightbox that i can use to do more creative things with my time. 👍👍👍

I've seen this cheap TV for sale on Trademe (in New Zealand) and it wasn't too badly damaged and I thought "hmmmm I wonder if this can be fixed?" So I jump on KZbin and scroll through and a bunch of video thumb nails with broken TVs and paper towels...? So I clicked on this one and started watching. After seeing the hammer, I was pretty sure that it was going to go through the screen? But whatever... we'll see? Tapping the screen on my phone to fast forward watching bits of it, neck minute hammer time yay. Oooooow I have to watch this with baited breathe... SMASH! A hammer straight through the screen! Sheesh I straight pissed myself laughing 😂 and thank the Lord I wasn't eating otherwise I would have chocked! 😵 Top video mate 👌
