I will say I haven’t tryed just a ton of frags, maby 15 or so designers but Mann is Dylan blue my favorite, that patchouli note with the sweetness is incredible. It’s my favorite scent and signature

Deep Blue Parfum was worth picking up at that deep discount. I tend to avoid Polo because they all have that very similar herbal musk base that makes it smell dated to me. When I first opened it up, it was right there along with a cucumber note. Letting it mature for a few months pushed that note far into the background and the fruit notes started to become more apparent. It's a darker type of aquatic blue that goes in a different direction than something like Y. Spraying it on with Chrome Extreme makes it very easy to register how different the structure is despite there being a green mango in both openings.

Chanel Bleu Edp and Parfum I have them both in the 5oz bottle and it is worth it and did not mind buying them. So much so that I got the 5oz.

@@saulgoodmanandriese8658 I’m prone to it unfortunately. YSL Y EDP, PDM Layton/Carlisle, D&G Light Blue Intense, D&G Luminous Night, Polo Deep Blue all give me a headache. Thankfully the majority of fragrances I’ve tried/own are fine, but there’s a certain few which give me a headache every time. Don’t know exactly what it is. If you’re not prone to headaches then I’d recommend Deep Blue as it’s great. I’d have kept it and used it a lot had I got on well with it.

I gave sedley and percival a wear on each arm and it is so hard to pick one. I think I like percival better in the open and sedley better once they tried down but they are both so good

I’ve got the Sauvage Edt and Parfum and works great. Think I’ve only worn it once this year but is great. Have not gotten the Elixir because it is so popular and do not want to risk smelling like one or more people when I attend an event. Hence why I have worn the ones I have only once.

No, not a masterpiece. Why? because it's a clone, they copied Fierce from abercrombie & fitch and even mont blanc legend was done too. Out of all 3, percival is the worst smelling of them. Fierce is more soapy, legend is more fruity and percival is more dry wood which is less mass appealing

I think instead of sauvage you should try the clones like coach green, gisada ambassador, bond no 9 the scent of peace, kajal faris, coach platinum, prada luna rossa carbon, etc... Really anything that isn't sauvage at this point is the way to go

correct, it doesn't smell like ysl y anymore it smells like gucci guilty pour homme. Like a weird musky citrus, almost like a lemonade that's gone flat and the fragrance feels way too flat and boring. No pop to it like the other Y fragrances

Y Intense is a more mature scent as opposed to more youthful overly sweet Y EDP. It is not horrible in the slightest. If anything, it's more refined

@@joealyjim3029 It doesn't smell generic at all. It has more prominent ginger which gives it a fizzy zing to the opening. It's just smells classy. It's a bit like Ultra Male vs LMLP. Ultra Male is that sweet apple youthful clubbing scent. LMLP is the grown-up brother, classier without the apple 🍏 I love both of them! So no it is not generic whatsoever. Bit that's just my opinion. It's just catering to a more mature demographic than Y EDP which is for men in their late teens and 20s.

@@Feemy the ginger is more noticeable in Eau fraiche and most the flankers have ginger in it anyway. Eau fraiche has a more bright, fresh and zingy opening. And I don't think ultra male has apple, it's supposed to be pear but it doesn't smell fruity it smells more like bubblegum and the le parfum is completely different ingredients being an iris scent. The Y fragrances are pretty much all the same in terms of smell with tiny differences, the intense just takes away most of what the other flankers did well but also the things some people hate like the sharp ambroxan & the fruityness... I don't agree though since intense smells like gucci guilty pour homme which is a teeny type clubbing fragrance anyway lol. The intense may be different than edp, but it's just swapping 1 teen clubbing dna for another teen clubbing dna (gucci guiilty pour homme)

It's not a great recommendation when someone is asking for a nautica voyage clone and you recommend hawas they are nothing alike. Too many blue fragrances to count and get a nose on. I'll be getting Armaf Iconic and be done with it all. Money's tight so there's plenty of great cheapies clones dupes twists to choose from. I can name easily ten blue fragrances off the top of my head that won't break the bank and are great. No need to go with designers niche. Haha.

CK eternity aqua should get way more love, it's less than $50 but the stuff is great. Maybe doesn't last long though...if you want a long lasting blue then go with Orto parisi megamare it's the longest lasting fragrance ever made and it's a blue fragrance

@@GrowingDownUnder I was going to go with a Megamare clone. But I heard Megamare has this type of funk in the notes. The clone has this epic performance that is cloying. I was looking at ACG Profumo clones instead. Iconic is a fall back do all.

@@shmoopiebear let me tell you this, no clone of megamare is stronger than the original megamare. It's absolutely beast mode, that word gets used alot so maybe i'll create a new term. Eternal or god mode, yes it's so strong it's cloying and you're right it has a seaweed note in it that I hate. However some people love the fragrance, i'm not one of them I hate it. My sister likes megamare and she's the fussiest person I know when it comes to fragrance she hates everything. The girls seem to prefer those aquatic scents in my experience a lot more than guys do. So megamare is gonna get a lot of woman and a lot of girls will probably wear it for themselves too since it's unisex. It's quite popular and hyped in the fragrance community in australia with woman and men both loving it. The funky smell it's not necessarily what you're thinking, it's more a marine note from seaweed & salt it smells like what I call a pirate ship (very woody, salty, mossy, seaweed, aquatic). You can't have a clone of megamare without seaweed and salt in it, then it's not a clone. So all clones will have the same marine smell. A clone won't be different.

Daft concept anyway. Just say what fragrances you like and why. If the spirit of St. Michael of Landon appeared before me and said that God was real pissed off with me because I didn't have Bleu de Chanel, Sauvage, Aventus, some Tom Ford thing or whatever TF, and that God was adamant that that frag was the best thing since Jesus, that still would not be cause for me to like any such fragrance. It's this baseless "you need this" stuff that has pretty much everyone out there who's into fragrances expressing their individuality by--getting whatever some swinging-dick fratboy in a random tux says they should get. This is also why I can barely go to a discounter's now without being half suffocated because some kid next to me has been convinced that if he douses himself with--any perfume really, it doesn't even matter which, he's somehow going to end up smelling great and not like some kind of terror attack based around a dirty bomb of tonka-scented rubbing alcohol or whatever TF.
