I used this recipe but used it on lamb instead since I’m in wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and omg it was amazing!! I did the carnitas recipe and it blew my partners mind! I don’t want no soy sauce in my carne asada marinade that sounds ridiculous to me . But yeah, her flavors are always spot on . I’m gonna purchase her cookbook very soon

When I was living in Los Angeles there were carnecerias everywhere but now in TN theres not flap meat, flank steaks etc.. all the super markets had the marinade like Food4Less etc but out here nada . I gotta find some good steaks and make my own asada. This is why im gonna use this marinade for boneless skinless chicken thighs, chop it up once cooked with homemade pico, cilantro and onion with some avocado and salsa verde..
