I have added Chiang Rai to my list of Northern Thailand to visit; great job. Kudos to your cameraman/person. Thank you for the Baan Dam and Bazaar portion; you did Chiang Rai justice by mentioning the floods and the recovery efforts. How did you travel to the area? It is quite a distance from Bangkok!

I just got back from Chiang Rai today! Saw the White and Blue Temples, and got to see the Saturday Walking Street (NOT the same as the Night Bazaar). Despite being a 1/5 the size of Chiang Mai, their Walking Street is every bit as big (and maybe even bigger!). It's less touristy and more local too - loved my evening out in CR!
