Just memorize the 2 patterns in C major...start small. Take 2 months to memorize that and move onto another key signature

Why would you remove the leading tone from the dominant chord? (the note B from the G chord in the key of C.)

@@playpianobyear I think an effective extended voicing would depend on the chord that follows it. Have you heard of the "A" and "B" voicings by John Mehegan? (A and B just being names of 2 categories)
