He's my one of my favorite villains. Thats because he's not really an evil character but rather someone who was MIA and captured and brainwashed into thinking that he was abandoned and that his team never cared for him. Imagine the torture and trauma he went through when he was captured by the Federation.

Cod ghosts was kinda underrated I wish they made another game and continued the story because of the cliffhanger

Rorke surviving and winning perfectly subverted the usual COD power fantasy of eliminating the villain and achieving victory, with the added punch that the player character is captured and possibly turned just as Rorke was. COD Ghosts may have a less than stellar reputation but this plot point was perfect

Clearly meant to be a cliffhanger but unfortunately, the MP was so hated we never got a Ghosts 2. It's a shame, too. Aside from the larger maps, Ghosts was a good CoD IMO.

He is most charismatic villain. Not like hissing Makarow, or Jackass like Sheppard, or megalomaniac like Menendez. He is direct. And his better trained then those three.

And yet in the gta verse, Rorke was actually related to a grandfather who actually committed arson on Raul Menendez’s family warehouse for the insurance money. In which Josefina was caught in the fire and nearly died. But survived but scarred by the burns. Raul’s father captured and tortured Rorkes family members. Decide to make them suffer. This itself makes the root of Menendezs journey of making his enemies suffer. Like Frank Woods. Raul would have a hatred on Mexico and the United States because Mexico is smaller and yet a us puppet which expanded its economic interests. And his country was a battleground for Mexicos hegemony. And being part of the South American side of Mu islands, Raul is considered South American and would later finance the South American federation. A rogue successor state of the former Andean Union. A us brazil anti communist pact of South American nations. Especially Peru and the Andean States, Rorke would face hardships and find brotherhood in the military. His life needed kinship and sees the future ghosts team as brothers in arms. His new family. Then with Almagro, he’s obsessed with destroying a general who threatens his country’s sovereignty and Mexico and us agencies sanction a hit on Almagro and Ghosts are the team who will end him.

Here’s my Cod 2 Ghosts endings if it ever became a thing: Rorke and Hesh fighting. Both on their knees exhausted and unable to get up. Both call out to Logan. Hesh says: Logan I know you’re still in there. Shoot this monster and we can go home and be done with this mess. I know you’re still in there brother. Fight it. Rorke says: Logan, stand with me at my side. Wipe out the ghosts. Complete the Mission. That’s an Order Logan. Bad ending: Logan shoots Hesh’s shoulder and Hesh Goes down to the ground. Logan then stabs him in the chest. Hesh says before he dies. I know this wasn’t you Logan, They brainwashed you. I’m sorry I couldn’t save you I regret it. Then he goes silent. Logan gets up. Rorke says smiling: We did it, we finally wiped out all the ghosts. Then Rorke Pulls out a gun and shoots Logan in the chest. Then he tells Logan: I only used you Boy to wipe out the rest of the ghosts. Now it’s time to have complete world domination for the Federation. Then he shoots him in the head. Rorke walks away throwing a cigarette behind him. Then the room gets exploded as the credits roll. Good ending: Logan shoots Rorke in Chest. Then he Goes up and stabs him in the neck. Logan Gets Hesh Up. They Both Hug. Hesh says I knew you were in there brother I love you. I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you. Logan says it’s alright There’s nothing you could have done. Hesh then says: Glad we finally beat this monster. Then credits fade. Ending credit scene: Logan and Hesh stand at their fathers grave. Elias Walker. Logan kneels down. Puts Elias Dog tags on the grave and some roses. Hesh looks at Logan. Our father would have been so proud if he could see us today. What we have become. Logan says: yeah he would have. They both smile and walk away. Then the credits roll.

I think it would be a nice touch in the good ending if Riley (the dog) was with Hesh and Logan in the ending credit scene.

Arguably Menendez wins too (except in one ending). If you kill him, he wins. If you spare him, he wins (unless Karma is alive). A phyric victory arguably, but still a victory.

@ i loved the story mode an the aliens. I never had online when i played it so i got mad hours just finnished it an replayed mad missions just for certain parts like droping out an abrams tank and all that i had my dislikes ofc but it was cool for a kid with no gold membership i didn’t even have online i just played youtube an played my offline games

They were definitely setting up for Ghosts 2 with that ending, but due to the game being badly received, they didn’t do it. If or until we do get a sequel, I’ll just pretend that last scene never happened and the game ended with Hesh telling Logan he’s proud of him This was my first CoD, and I didn’t have the Internet to tell me how bad this game was l, so I had a blast with it, replaying the campaign many times. It might admittedly pale in comparison to a lot of the other campaigns I played. But this game is still a fun time

I'd love a Ghosts 2 taking place 15 years later. It's the attempt to rebuild the US, while fighting with Mexico, the Carribbeans and Central America to repel the Federation back South. It could also allow to have different American factions fighting, like New Republic of America vs Social Democracy of America or whatnot. With mature storytelling, it could be a great way to depict patriotism when "brothers" kill each other for a similar goals, in addition to have missions that are Ghosts vs Hunters (Rorke's team). I think the potential is there. Also with the CoD blueprint being : Major CoD game followed by Year 2 update package as a new game with new story and arsenal and a new WZ map; I think Ghosts 2 would be the perfect follow up to a Modern Warfare 5. G2 being MW5.5 packaged with a story, Extinction 2, and guns and maps brought back from G1 mixed with new stuff.
