About the sync issues, make sure you're plugging in one device at a time. RB only uses one CPU core to sync media (single threaded). Also, I feel like the 1.87 and RB 7 are not compatible in some way, I had to replace CDJs in the middle of the set last weekend.

Dont opt for more that usb 3.0, the 3.1's have issues sometimes with cdj players, and the usb 2.0 are very slow with the current rekordbox versions(esp syncing). and i stopped syncing, i just export the folders to the usb in RB

James you need to get the SanDisk extreme pro 64Gb and format it to fat32 but trick the computer into thinking it's a 32GB and it'll double the export time. I've had the same issues with 12% overnight and this has helped me and all my friends!
