Good guide. One thing you got wrong though is riding horses. You dont lose your carry weight when you get dismounted. T6 riding horse is only 5% slower than a swiftclaw and T7 has the same speed as a swiftclaw. They are pretty decent budget options if you cant afford giant horse.

There's one other out there I watched a year and a half ago when I was last on, where, whilst not as indepth as this video, unlike here, that video is filmed and done entirely in the Black Zone. He was using a spear in that as like the blood letter, it has good mobility/escape skills.

Started playing the game on PC 2 days ago, ended up in the Swamps after tutorial, I tried gathering and it seemed to me that fishing makes good silver ! ​@Rinchen 🎶 Hi, I read your comment not so long ago but it seems you posted it long before like one year ago. Actually, I've started to play the game again because of your comment. Here is what happened. When I first started following this tutorial, so first time I started playing, I was making good silver fishing. At some point I went on a few successful trips to red zones once I got t6 fishing gear and it felt a bit boring and I wanted to make more content other than fishing, so I went for pvp. So I started training for a Mace build for pvp and when I felt ready I went to the red zone but I got killed by another player, he took my loot and my gear was maybe too high in cost for a noob because I lost like 500k silver. I went rage quit the game and never touched it again. I've started playing again for 2-3 weeks now. Here is how it's going. First two days I went basically fishing, followed this tutorial all over again, and finished with a few good runs in red zone, evaded all ganking attemps, then I started to get bored again so I started to learn about PvP and other content like dungeons and faction warfare by watching youtube and reading on reddit. I trained for 1 handed spear and also bow killing mobs in the open world. I definitely went for some ZvZ in faction warfare. I started leveling other gathering skills. People in open world can be surprisingly chill to play with, even very generous when they see a noob like me struggling against mobs." Oh, you struggling, let me help you, let's make a group, let's clear a dungeon, here grab this dagger worth 800k." I'm making somewhat friends in game and even planning to go gank at some point with one of them. Yesterday after all the open world, faction things I've been doing I decided to go make some silver again by fishing. I went in red zone and got ganked two times in a 1vs1 situation. First time I barely made it alive but I got back to town safe. The second time not so much. Those two times, the gankers literally appeared on me while I was fishing it was really impressive, I barely had the time to blink. I think the second time I could have survived too with better time reaction, priority of action and knowledge of the build. Also I had a wrong move on the bloodletter so I'm faulty for that. The build I think is pretty solid, a lot of evasion to stay alive, but I need more experience still. There is no other way to gain that experience than to play so I'm willing to go again in red zone and maybe at some point doing black zones (never done BZ yet) roads of avalon (neither), mists if it's viable (only did Yellow zone) to fish. I think I also got a bit cocky during the trip in RZ I recently died in because I caught 2x T7 eels, but decided to stay until I had full inventory, so I'm missing those 250k silver aswell.. So after that I went for one last fishing trip and this time I was a lot more mobile, also very nervous because I got recently killed and decided to go to the exact same map, which I feel is never a good idea, I was always moving and checking surroundings while on horse, so it took twice the time it takes me to full inventory. Also I tried the swiftclaw as mount but it felt really squishy, it needs a lot of attention I think to maintain the mount's HP, so now until I don't have a clear mental picture of the maps I'm going in, I will focus on the t5 riding horse that has lots more of hp and I can ride trough mobs with it. One last thing I could add is that in the red zone, I should consider everyone as deceiving and enemy, so if I see blue coming next to me, or it seems them blues are looking for me, I should definitively go away because they could be telling their friends or even flagging red to kill me. There is still lots more of different content I'm learning on youtube, I don't know yet what I what to do more in Albion but lately I've been trying market item flipping in royal cities since I've a better knowledge of the game now, but I could also be transporting, going to the blackmarket.. and so much more as you know.

People, even SBI, say that pork pie works with fishing but when you actually sit down and do hours worth of testing VS seaweed salad you'll see you'll have overall more fish with seafood salad then if you do another test where for one hour you eat pork pies and for one hour you eat nothing it's no different. TL:DR- SBI lied when they said pork pies work with fishing.

Pork pie doesn't work on fishing, I have checked while doing my fishing. It doesn't gives additional fishing yield thus no extra fame, as the pork pie's description mentioned it is for gathering yield not for fishing yield

As a fellow fisherman (lvl 92 fishing, and lvl 51 spec) I do love your channel. I was looking for you last year, but I think you were taking a break from the game when I went looking for you, and well I also took a break for a year (but kept my premium and now have thousands of learning points). I do unfortunately wish you would keep some of these secrets to yourself, those of us who have learned some of the practical fishing tricks on our own are devastated when another fisherman standing right next to you knows the same tricks, and you end up with tiles filled with fisherman competing for the same water all over the continent only able to pull out maybe three fish before hitting rocks and logs because the whole tile is just being fished too hard.

The one thing that changed the most is the seaweed salad imo. It's now worthless and can absolutely be used instead of pork pies. 10% gathering speed means 10% more fame, fish, and faster journal filling.

@@xzil2167 Fishing is bad money compared to other gathering. There is no perfect answer, the market changes all the time... What I like to do though is make basic fish sauce, and then .1 enchanted food. .2 and .3 very rarely sell.

Thank you very much for the in-depth guide! I would like to ask: I fished for quite a while on Willowsigh Marsh (Tier 5 zone south of Thetford) and there were a great amount of schools of fish in that zone. Do you think that every biome in the game is equally good for fishing, or is there a biome that favours fishing more (when it comes to tier 5 zones mostly)? For journals, tier 5 fish, rare catches (basically to make better and faster income). Thank you in advance. :)

Sorry for the late response, To answer your question Swamps are the biomes that favors fishing more. You will catch more fish than any other zone, because of the density of water. If you want to power level and make money, stick to the swamps.

For the riding horse and stag you won't be over weight once dismounted, similar to the boar. Also, T7 krakens (seawater fish) are also expensive fishes. Just a small correction, otherwise great video ❤️

While Yes, Kraken are somewhat expensive they are not as worth as eels or snapper, this is because there are only a few T7+ ocean tiles, And they are either over fished or riddled with gankers. This is why I chose not to tell people to fish for them, not worth the risk IMO. Good point tho.

Boar mount is overkill, a swifty or a wolf is enough if you go with a large enough backpack.

Bait gives you Bite Speed%, not Fishing Speed. One makes fish bite the line faster, the other makes fish progress down the line faster. One helps in getting more bites/m, one helps in fishing faster

@@b1ast206 So I did a good bit of T5 fishing last night and it helps to go a yellow zone further out. The ones that are next to the blue zones around Thetford are pretty much always overcrowded with other fishers. Once I found a rather secluded area, I filled up 2 T7 journals pretty quickly. With the fish sauce that I made, it ended up being about 600k or so. I still am super new to this, so my technique is probably not the best. GOOD bait helps. A LOT. Murkwater clams and I think the spotted trout will have you reeling in for a minute or two as the fish meter goes all the way back to the left several times. Sheesh! Better bait helps reduce that time. I got ganked for the first time! That only happened because I took a 2 minute break to pet my dog a little bit and when I turned and looked at the screen there was a lone ganker in skeleton form swinging away at my meager health bar. He took me out and I waited the 3 minutes or so to revive. Went back to fishing. There were other gankers that tried to get me later, but I was paying attention and mounted up before they could get me. Fortunately it was just one. Today I plan on staying out until I fill 4 journals. I just realized that might be too heavy to go home with, and I might need to upgrade my mount.

If it's what I'm thinking of, that happens to me too once in a while, and when I asked in help chat, I was basically told that if you have low FPS (frames per second, which you can see by typing /fps in chat), sometimes there's a bug or something where yeah, even if you're midway through fighting the fish, and you're in the middle and it's going just fine, it'll suddenly put your bobber all the way to the left until the line snaps, as if you let go of the mouse button. I'm not sure how to fix it, if there is a fix, though I've sometimes had to stop listening to music on KZbin in the background while fishing, since it seemed to be causing that to happen more frequently for me (I'm on a pretty old computer though). So, maybe it's just that sometimes!

Michaeng Albion Online is a full loot MMORPG, you should not give up on fishing because you failed to realize that bringing a rare mount to full death zone is a bad idea. Also no where in the video did I mention using a grizzly bear in t6+ zones. If u ride a grizzly bear it should only be in T5 zones or less. Also you could literally by another grizzly in like 4 hours of fishing t5 zones.

get Grandmaster's (T7) Journals, they should only be like 18K. The prices may be a little wonky on the market rn, but they should never more than 19K.

@@SolidStateH2O Incorrect...There are no T6 Fish in yellow zones. Most likely it is a Rare T5 fish which are hard to catch. You'll experience this again when u catch T7 Rare fish they put up one hell of a fight!

The swamps are the best because they have the most water in the game. You can fish the swamp zones for hours and there would still be more fish to catch. This helps your leveling and money making in the lower levels.

Man u don't lose the carry capacity if you get knocked out of a horse or wild boar or any mount with the courrier capacity Mainly courrier capacity is a passive skill like in the weapons and armor pieces so it doesn't wear off if you are unmounted
