yeah but dont underestimate the winnie c. Its one of my main weapons and I use it in 6 star lobbies (its very viable but ofc not mosin tier). Its a headshot machine as it has minimum sway and high enough rof / dmg to two tap 25+ meters. I prefer it over more expensive weapons like the vetterli, berthier, centennial and so on. Give it a spin mate its great! And its also a great way to get better at aiming since you cant rely on pure dmg.

Idk, I feel the love. I use it and see it a lot, I especially like the swift myself. It's just that long ammo is the meta, can't really be beat at range and is obviously good in closer ranges as well.

Winfield always had enough love from the community and from the developers. Many years ago it was almost meme rifle. Now the only advantage of long ammo rifles over the Winfield - double tap range. Muzzle velocity means nothing if you mastered your weapon. If you need it you can take high velocity bullets, yeah, it's special ammo, but common you have almost 40 of them if you take non compatible sidearm. If you take Nagant you will have more then 60 bullets for your Winfield and you will pick up over 15 bullets from special ammo case. If you are confident player you can take FMJ bullets for wall banging and almost 200 meters headshot range (if you can land your shots so far away with ~330 m/s muzzle velocity).

@@lastofthevandals long ammo has plenty of other advantages, like increased penetration and more importantly MUCH better one shot potential on a player who has previously been downed and is missing a 25 bar. That is huge in teamfights.

agreed. I like the Swift with fmj, dual wield conversion pistols with fmj. The pistols give an insane amount of reserve ammo. But the best part is there are so many combos between special ammo and the vandal models. So many combinations.

Great plays. The only thing I don't understand is why not swap for the winnie aperture? That way you have more ammo before reload, aperture flexibility, and still works with your perks

Great match Mike, I remember whatching it live. The last guy was weird, also not sure what was his plan. Maybe he didn't had one and just lost his cool seeing his partners get downed. One thing tho, 07:21, I 've noticed myself that placing traps on top of the stairs is bad, as people coming up see them no matter what. It's better to place them at the bottom. However I get you were in a rush, and it's better to place them somewhere than die with them in your inventory.

Man, I feel honored to be killed by you, I don't remember what my plan was there(well that was definitely dumb one) but me and my friends had this strange streak of games where we kill a boss, collect bounty, kill 6 people in the game and when we go for the second bounty we just play the most dumb ass plays posible, loosing it all. The thought of teleporting to multiple villages where they have been on the outbreak would be phenomenal. So get this players spawn on different maps and villages. But it will tell them how many have made it to the boss village area where they are located at currently, well kind of making the clues more like short talks with some folks that have just seen the boss monster (bounty) and the teleports are tears where the monster is running through to get to the villages

Setup - 3 maps small- medium range Houses that are more destroyed from a large dash and flurry of clues saying what the monster is instead of outright showing the one you are hunting. Let the players be immersed as the bounty hunters they have taken up to(this point I don't know what sort of clues to leave, but they should be like really on a hunt and you have only heard and seen the damage until the point of finding it's new villages teleports. And don't make it obvious about the clues have them be in different places like this house is normal not destroyed. And the other is the same house but with clues of the monster we are hunting

My go to is Winnie/machete and if I'm feeling dangerous I'll unlock Winnie swift and fire or penetration ammo. My Favorite loadout with the silenced nagant is combining it with the Slate shotty, it's great for wiping trios while my teammates are laying face down in the mud 😁

All of the winfields are powerful for sure. I sort of see them as a more skilled player's weapon though due to the seeming need to land lots of headshots for them to really excel. In my hands I tend to find myself frustrated with the need to land a second body shot as well as running out of ammo from misses thanks to taking lots of shots. Maybe that just means I need to slow down and aim more?

Sounds like just a practicing thing and it will come with time. If you are running out of ammo you might be shooting a whole lot so slowing down could help, just don't aim for too long if someone is looking at you. Remember to pick a pistol with the similar ammo type you are using for the winnie as well if you want a bigger ammo pool.

Winfield is the best gun in the game for purely improving your own aim, because you need headshots but it gives you tons of ammo, respectable effective range, special ammo at multiple common velocities, reloads quickly and sways very little. It's worth putting time into! On the contrary, rather than slow down, take more shots. That's what the gun is good at. More shots, more practice, more kills.

He would rather take dusters over the knuckle knife, but hornskin is a perk that reduces blunt damage. Knuckle knife isn't locked to just blunt damage.

I think the knuckle knife asks for a little bit more of effort and rewards you with being cheaper and easier to swing than the knife and having more reach than the dusters. I actually like that trade.

@@arsenez.2432 No problem at all! Well, Turkey (I can't get used to Türkiye when I'm speaking English) is a pretty big country so the values will change depending on where you are. But from the capital, Ankara, which is located a little to the west-by-northwest of the centre, I get 60 to 90 ms depending on the day and the time. I can, with confidence, say that I get around 70 ms average. I'd assume the values won't differ too much in İstanbul due to bandwidth traffic at the very least since it is the largest and the most populous province but, I can't say for sure. I'm glad if I could be of any help and by the way, it isn't just my profile name, it's my actual name. Good hunting!

14:55 why didn't you take the Winfield aperture though? It's literally a straight upgrade to the Winnie and can still use the iron repeater trade so long as he flipped down the sight.... yeah I'm that people give the aperture site hate but it's actually pretty good when you flip it back up with some decent zoom and visibility outside of the sight and the single needle design makes it easy enough to see where your bullets going to actually hit.

The nagant is the only one that could be silenced due to its mechanism that seals off the barrel when firing. Other wise a revolver is pointless to suppress

​@@arsenez.2432 The Hunt devs seem to care greatly about weapon design that makes sense and adheres to their real life counterparts, so as a layman I wouldn't be able to point to a specific gun they might choose. But I do have some thoughts on the potential balance issues around another silenced pistol. Although they did release the silenced Vetterli, which is not balanced at all with the other silenced rifles, so this aspect might not be on the developer's minds at all anyway. However, with the Nagant silencer being the only silenced pistol available right now, and being compact ammo, it's tough to say what kind of silenced pistol they might add that wouldn't just supplant the Nagant silencer entirely. Maybe a medium ammo silenced pistol with a smaller magazine? Or the balance could simply come from the fact that it's a 2-slot weapon. And with regards to that 2-slot base type, I simply think it would be nice to have a weapon like that in the game (and with different special ammo than the Nagant, as well). Right now we have the Nagant silencer for 1-slot, and all the silenced rifles for 3-slot, but it's tough to incorporate a silenced weapon into a loadout with another 2-slot weapon, or even with a 3-slot and quartermaster.

That last trio. Like, if the last guy 100% tried to bait you, but done it awkward way, that tier 2 lass who jumped down - really wtf was that play? lol Smarter would be to jump down(since she already decided to jump) and push you (That way she had at least some chances) instead of trying to pick the teammate up while you are literally watching them. Honestly, it is hard to suprise me, but that trio was probably 2nd weirdest thing i've seen. Yet comes after a guy who rushed into the lair with mosin avtomat, got nailed by a guy with a romero hatchet right away lol Me and another guy got into a crossfire trying to save that dumbass. Unlucky for me - i queued with him in the next match, and he tried to teamkill me, because for some reason he thought it's my and another guy's fault. He was chasing me literally cross two compounds, but he couldn't hit me properly with a weenie at all also he got karma'd - he got sniped from behind because other team heard the gunshots and probably started chasing aswell. Other teammate was passive to that, didn't wanted to be a part of that and just ran towards the nearest extraction, and that's honestly what i'd did too. So anyways, after other team got rid of that dumbass for me, i headed to the extraction point. Sometimes Hunt gives truerly weird interactions inbetween randoms. Toxic mostly lol P.s. it was two years since you've mentioned it, but dev's haven't added 2d replay. Probably waaaaaay too complicated for that engine.

Hey Mike, I have a question, encountered something weird. I was shooting a meathead through one of the dog cages, through 2 wire-mesh fences, with long ammo (Berthier). Only about every 2nd bullet gave me a hitmarker though. It was quite consistent that the other bullets seemed to not go through, now I'm wondering... is this intended? ~15 bullets and meathead didn't go down.

Silly that people are telling to drop the gun. No weapon in the game is worthless. No weapon in the game is stupid over powered. They all have a use and application that they excel at. Some are just more overall decent and a few (Such as long ammo snipers) are just really strong in one application (Long range little cover). All the Winchesters in the game are great at being versatile medium range weapons. Depending on the version they will lean more long or short range. But are always decent at medium range.

Winfield is my favorite rifle of all time. It's efficient, versatile, easy to use, cheap, fast, deadly and you have plenty of variant to choose from. Slap high velocity ammo in it and you have basically a cheap Mosin minus the insane pen. And that's not even counting what you can do with levering

I like crossbow. 1-shot kill or massive DMG+heavy bleed forcing players to stop dead in their tracks and hold F to not bleed out is very good at turning 3v1s immediately into 2v1s before they realise what is happening. If they didn't realise where bolt came from as their teammate collapsed right in front of them it very quickly turns into 1v1... However if I didn't suck at aiming or my nick was Hornet I would just grab Nagant Officer or Bornheim and click heads 😂🤷
