You know, this sounds like a fun idea for a archetype: A plague themed deck of non-DARK Beast/Beast-Warrior/Winged Beast/Reptile/Zombie monsters that are all treated as DARK while face-up on the field or in the GY, that “infect” and debilitate your opponent and their cards while swelling your own ranks (with potentially your opponent’s own lost cards)… One such card: _Plague Swarm Vermin_ (EARTH) Level 1 Pendulum Scales: 0⬅️➡️0 _If a ”Plague Swarm” monster you control battles an opponent’s defense position monster: Inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. If a “Plague Swarm” monster you control inflicts battle or effect damage to your opponent: Place 1 Plague Counter on all of your opponent’s monsters. Opponent’s monsters with 3 or more Plague Counters can be used as tributes or materials for your summon of a “Plague Swarm” monster._ Beast/Pendulum/Tuner/Effect _This card that is face-up on the field or in the GY is also treated as DARK-Attribute. If this card is summoned: You can special summon 1 “Plague Swarm Vermin” from your hand, GY or Pendulum Zone. Gains additional attacks per battle phase equal to the number of face-up “Plague Swarm Vermin” you control. If this card battles or is destroyed by an opponent’s card, you can place 1 Plague Counter on a monster your opponent controls._ ATK/250 DEF/200

@@duelmasteryuya1205 Well honestly, I think the second effect box they have should have been standard with cards in general to begin with… Imagine how much better, say, certain boss monsters would be if their summoning conditions didn’t take up half of their “effects”? Look at Ra for example… If I could retrain it with the above, I’d try something like… _The Winged Dragon of Ra - Divinity Unbound_ (DIVINE) Level 12 Effect box 1: _Requires 3 Tributes to Normal Summon (cannot be Normal Set). This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. If Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Neither player can target this card with card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned during a turn where “Mound of the Bound Creator” was not face-up on the field: Send it to the GY._ Divine-Beast / Effect _This card’s name is treated as “The Winged Dragon of Ra” while face-up on the field or in the GY. If this card is summoned, it gains Original ATK/DEF equal to your current LP, and also, send to your GY (From your hand or deck) 1 “The Winged Dragon of Ra - Immortal Phoenix, and add to your hand (From your deck or GY) 1 “The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode”. (Quick Effect) You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 card on the field; destroy that target._ ATK/5000 DEF/5000 THERE, I can spice up all aspects of the original Ra and add some new flavor… Its summoning condition now matches the other god’s, it has Obelisk’s targeting immunity, and Mound of the Bound Creator can prevent the gods need to be sent to the GY if special summoned. Meanwhile it treats itself as the original Ra while on the field or in the GY, it sets up it’s immortal phoenix and sphere mode forms in advance, it auto-gains original ATK/DEF equal to your LP upon summon instead of needing to drain it after being normal summoned, and it’s pay 1000 to destroy a card effect is better overall.

Anyway, I just wanted to make fun of people who use the pendulum boxes because they want to fit so many effects to one card (yours is a concept for a whole archetype, I assume, so if that is true then it is understandable) without thinning it down to an actual card because they could not think of a way to NOT have all of the effects. They can't help themselves but to fit EVERY idea into one card. My comment was meant to be insulting, but now I realize I don't have to be insulting for my point to come across. So, I will apologize for my initial direction of my comment. I don't expect forgiveness, but I will apologize anyway.
