The reality for those who don't leave voluntarily: - legal residency status will expire - right to work and to other benefits will not be there - have to work illegally, underpaid over worked, exploited in very low end jobs others don't want to do. - not be able to drive a car or rent a place to live or have a bank account - not be able to visit home country because, cannot re-enter One has to ask self: is life worth living like this after getting educated? It is not Canada's fault because, student visa explicitly says "not a path to permanent residency"

@realcasualvlogs9450 You should have known this before entering Canada 🇨🇦. Some agent in India has cheated you. International students were never assured of PR at any point of time. You have written in your resume that you will leave Canada 🇨🇦 after your studies. Am I correct? Don't blame someone else for your mistakes.

@@antonyjohnpeter549 FOA, I apply my own not by any stupid agent. I am a licensed Pharmacist in India and A Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Canada. Canada is totally fraud country because Indians like you. All time @Marcmiller bark he needs health care workers in this country. Here me and lot of my connection we are licensed healthcare workers. Where is his promise of pr to health care worker? We work more than you and your entire family is doing for community understand it first. You guys even fight for $10 when your private insurance charge you co-pay for any Prescription drug and beg pharmacy staff to waive it. Even worse , for $5 bucks by saying Please charge us Costco fee. yo listen , i have much to say but i don't want to release my frustration on you. I personally never write this we leave this country in my RESUME, first learn and get knowledge. we have to write this in SOP, and Personally me I write if i never get the good oppturnity then i will leave, but i get the opportunity in 1 of the biggest Pharmacy company in Canada . Just make a video in english don't make you a wise person.

Both the economy and immigration have been grossly mishandled. There are a series of knee jerk reactions during and after COVID around drastically raising interest rates and getting too many immigrants here with no consideration for sustainability creating inflation, stopping wage growth, and affecting housing, health and social services. Abdullah is brilliant.

My daughter is Indian passport holder and got married to a Canadian citizen boy (Indian boy born in UAE and now Canadian citizen and Canadian passport holder). My daughter is living with him in Canada on visiting Visa and applied for PR. Still waiting for AOR since last four months. No news. My daughter is software engineer she did Masters in Computer science from University of Colorado, Denver and export in cybersecurity. Is her situation serious ? Is there chance of she not getting PR ? Kindly guide.

Hi I would strongly suggest to consult an immigration consultant.. that is your best bet to get best information
@antonyjohnpeter54928 күн бұрын
She has good chances of getting PR, since she has married a Canadian citizen.

IRCC may find the marriage a fake one and one just to stay in Canada and likely be deported. Hope so.

I think they should go back and re-apply under appropriate PR program. Its not fair for the people who are waiting in line for legit PR.

How easy is it to come back? Let’s say I have studied here and also worked here. And say I go back to my country, work there and come back in a year or two by working in my home country and get more points.
@NorthAmerican-Desi13 күн бұрын
You mean if you don’t have a PR how easy it is to get a PR by going back and applying from home country? Well it depends on the field of study, occupation and whether you can make up the total immigration points

they came as intl students, their priority should have been to complete their studies & go back, but if their intention was to use this as a pathway to PR, then its their own fault...they were also working on cash which is illegal to do so...

@sycann123 99% of students from India come with an expectation of Permanent Residency.
@whyme5024Ай бұрын
Not really. Canadian and US student visas explicitly state that it is not a pathway to automatic permanent residency, Same is true with employment visas. neither country guarantees or promises permanent residency. It has to be applied for separately.
