Kayyy you lucky only three years. I have been single since I was ten. I had a childhood friend back when I was young. I didn't say bye before I came to the U.S. Because of her, I spend my highschool days learning about love. Because of her I was able to learn alot about love, and God finally told me to move on and he found someone special for me. And he promised me that I'll marry to her soon. That was 5yrs ago, and I'm still waiting.

I look back and think of my time at the shelter with my two babies. I lived there for 2.5 months, during that time I didn't worry, I just took it day by day. Then I got the call for this apartment. Got gave me my boyfriend to teach me patience, I’ve always been fast on my feet and on time. My boyfriend is the total opposite and I’m always rushing him. I was so over relationships. This is so good because I've been waiting on something that has been taking some time but God instructed me to trust the process. Initially I was upset but then prayed and begin to trust God and appreciate the process but what it's has produced in my life. A few months ago I recognized that I needed to be more patient. This is the MOST Fruitful sermon I have ever heard in a long time. How come I never found you before? Like I don't know about you guys but it is rare for me to get so much out of a series and feel like God is speaking to me about everything Pastor Michael has talked about. But this last one topped them all because I have been going through testing with patience the past several years, financial problems, alcohol and drug addictions in the family, health issues due to the addictions. Job loss, etc.. and for so many for so many years I tried to work it out on my own, I put God on the back burner and then it's like He kept being patient with me and only in the last couple months I've gotten to where I'm like, "Ok God. Nothing is working out for me and everything I tried has failed and I'm not happy with the world and doing things on my own. So what do you want me to do? You can do whatever you want with me." Then I find this guy and I feel like God saying, "See? This is what I want you to hear. Listen to this man.. LISTEN to him!!" I live in Florida but now I feel like I should get up and move to Oklahoma^^ :)

Esmeralda Gems Woow, this is amazing! I was going through a similar situation when I was struggling in school. I was trying everything - including drugs, to decide and handle things on my own. But it just wasn't working. I was still failing in school, and it got to the point where I just stopped pretending to try. I got into drugs pretty seriously at that point, and it was getting costly (in a lot of ways) and just feeding my fleshly desires only. It got to the point where I had to move in with my mother and try community college (I eventually dropped out of that as well.) I would do the usual praying at night, but that was it. But then, I just got tired of everything failing. I got tired of nothing being behind that allure of whatever measly quick-fix fad the world had to offer. I had enough. I started by opening up a kiddie Bible book I had in my childhood bedroom and began living by giving my life to Christ. Since then, this journey in Christ has been full of life and adventure. Even the struggles have been entirely fruitful. In just months, decades of fear and paranoia I harbored were reduced to the size of a crumb. Thank You, Jesus! I've recently been struggling with my identity in Christ; what that really meant, and who I really was. I have these worries to God, and He set the Holy Spirit to move in me in miraculous ways. These past two weeks have been completely life altering in that the trials I go through - even the seemingly trivial ones, are lessons that are building me up in Christ's likeness. God is making me more and more like Christ every day; making me more and more into the person who is ready to receive the promises He has for me. Thank you, God! I'm happy you shared this, as I was going to click out of the comment section, but the Holy Spirit moved me to keep scrolling. He landed me on the comment on this beautiful sermon that ignited me to tell my story in full! Thank You, Holy Spirit!
