I normally never comment on any KZbin videos or social media content period, but I just have to say that I am so impressed with Steven Hart and his training on all the aspects of trading, specifically technical analysis and strategies. I can’t say enough great things about it. Today is Wednesday November 20 2024. I took a simulated trade on the NQ Futures using what I learned from the first 15-20 monies of this video. I was in a single contract for just a few minutes and made $600. Being a simulation, I could have let it ride out. I stopped out after I saw some pullback. If I had let it go until the official reversal signal, it would have been $2000.

I never thought I would ever trade currencies before I bought the Steven's training course last years. It is an excellent course, very well explained with examples and easy to understand, from the beginning of simpler trades to more advanced trades. But it takes some time to acquire knowledge and then to use it in practice. I'm still learning and I trade with low risk to get used to it.

I made a lot of Money because everything was moving up like crazy until towards the end of 2021 when the market just dropped into a bearish face. I lost 80% of my gains because I was caught bag holding; meaning I didn’t take profits expecting it to go higher. I got frustrated and took a 3 year break to focus on my job and then get back to trading after educating myself about trading. I wrote down everything I did wrong and what I need to do to fix it and become a consistently profitable trader. I just started trading again last month but not profitable yet. I’m currently creating my Trading Playbook and will use paper trading for a month or 2 to work on my strategies and find out what works or not before risking my capital. I still have over 65k in my brokerage on my long term investments. I hope this helps and good luck!

Lower time frames have choppy price action so it is always recommended to go on higher timeframes like 1 hour 4 hour charts

I wonder about why do you use 1.41 risk/reward ratio. Would not be good if it is above 2?

He manages the trade and uses 1.4 as a base target, once price gets close to the 1.4 target, he moves stop loss to breakeven and moves his target further up based on the movement of the market, this takes more experience to do and is harder to explain etc.. Rn I’m also backtesting one of his 4h strategies, in that video he also aims for 1.4, but in my backtesting I’m just doing 2.0 and so far it seems to work out pretty alright for me. I would say if you do 1.5 rrr, 2.0 rrr or even 3.0, just make sure you properly backtesting to see if it actually works, optimise it to see what works better
