I second this. While I don't have an eye for "good" editing, this guide is everything I needed to kick off the rust with Riven. It doesn't matter how good you are with Riven's combos and animation cancels if you don't even know how to implement them properly. This guide expertly solves that. I didn't know that ignite can keep conq stacks, thats actually pretty usefull, especially combined with nimbus cloak. It's worth noting that using goredrinker or whip also gives you stacks.

I really have a lot of situations where I think to myself, man if my conq would last 2 seconds more I would be able to roast this kid above oven temperature and then my conq ran out, but now I can roast them well done with ignite

This is such a great guide because it gives you specific examples of when certain mythics are good as well as the mechanical stuff... but bro, "versing" isn't a word. Still the best Riven guide I've looked at, tho.

Hey first thanks for the great guide ❤ For the fast combo there is another way to do it and you even do it in the video but don’t explain it at 20:30 You can use A-Click (Called Player Attack Move under Player Movement in the Hotkey Settings) (also would suggest to enable ''Attack move on Cursor under Gameplay section in the Game Settings) You can use A-click to cancel the q animation instead of clicking next to the target. This can be really useful for people who are used to using the „A“ key to attack and maybe is easier for some since you can even click on the target with A-Click and don’t have to click next / or behind yourself. So the combo would be: auto - Q - A-Click - Q - A-Click - Q - A-Click (You can also start with an A-click auto here if you want) While doing this A-Click you can keep the cursor on the target or click behind you / next to you as in the normal fast q combo. You do this in the video at 20:30 where the circle indicator shows and probably out of habit you still click to the side ( same happens to me sometimes ) but for newer players it is maybe is easier to keep the mouse on the target 😊 I also made a video about this alternative way of doing it so maybe this is easier for some ❤ (but if you’re watching it, mute the first second of my video since I have a unpleasant unmuting sound at the start, my bad 😅) So at first seems a bit confusing but is actually really simple with a bit of practice! If you have any questions feel free to ask! love the vid. would love a match up guide. like I have no idea who is necessarily "hard to kill" as player skill differs. I know that dari renekton and sett are stupid strong early, and I've stomped quite a lot of them. just had a game where I stomped a kayle early game, then she scaled hard asf, so I had no idea in this case I should've ran transendence/tp to avoid her split pushing. things like this would be very beneficial to new riven players/new players in general. Love the vid!

Also worth mentioning is how the q functions differently depending on where your mouse is when you use it. If you use q while the mouse is on the target, you won't dash through them. If the mouse is not on the target when q is pressed, you will dash through them. It takes some time to learn to control this but it can matter when you want to chase the enemy during q combo or just do a short trade without going too deep.

@aloisnl I never get a single bank from my junglers. I always get camped every single game. I spam pings ask for assistance my whole team ignores me while I am always going 1v2 - 1v5 in the top lane. I freeze slow push do everything enemy top laner never wards never does anything just auto pilot pushing top. I might just stop playing top lane cause it’s not meant for me or any lane to be honest. Cause if I play mid they gank top and bot if I play bot they gank top and mid.

I trained fast Q for 30min straight (twice) and both times i can't get higher dps than without fast Q... i don't see a difference but since EVERY guide says it's a thing, it has to be, i just can't see it or doing something wrong idk... i'm normally really good in games since i invest most of my time playing games, and a lot of them are competitive but in league i struggle a lot. i play against bronze-gold mostly and i don't see a difference at all in performance, sometimes i shit on plats and then i get hard rolled from a bronze in lane, and late game i mostly carry when i was behind first, and get shit on when i was fed in early. like 80% of the time one of those happen. i literally win way more games when i am not ahead at the start. in my rank only every 10 games a tank is in my team and i have no idea how to play riven when they have 30sec cc every 10 seconds (which they have every game), when there is no tank to peel and go in first so they waste their cooldowns on him. i just get hard focussed every game it feels like and i can't dodge 5 skillshots per second... i'm not a god, just a good player i thought, apperantly for league i'm low dogshit trash... someone help me please lol in pretty much every other comp game i am in top 5% at least, a lot of the times even 0.1% but yea in league bronze are gods 50% of the time, and the other 50% are so dogshit that i could afk and win against them. but i don't think the 50% good ones are all smurfs, i hope not lol
