being cool and calm is the key, if you're under pressure, it will take a toll on your section 1 score, only a person capable of scoring high bands like 8-9 can make a comeback despite not putting up a great show in section 1,by the end of section 1 the examiner has a rough idea about your level and if you succumb to the pressure, you will get 6, you gotta break the shackles and speak for 2mins,the examiner would patiently wait for 2mins because your section 1 wasn't that great, he/she will let you speak till the last second, you gotta keep going,its another chance for you to make a comeback ,the part 3 follow up questions define your overall score, if you do well in this hard section the examiner will change his/her mind and mark you based on your last two round performances, if you do well in section 2-3 you can get up to 8bands,vocabulary,logical answers along with phrasal verbs and idioms are essential to change the examiners mind.

But the examiner will know that we can't keep talking smoothly and naturally because we are talking less, right?
@IELTSSuccessFastlane4 ай бұрын
By speaking less I mean you don’t have to rush words trying to say so many things or trying to speak fast! You should speak at a moderate pace, clearly and succinctly! Keep it smooth and flowing naturally of course. I meant no need for unnecessary details that you may not be confident with where you could potentially end up making mistakes, also I meant you don’t have to speak exactly for 2 min, 1 min 30 sec could be sufficiently effective in getting a good score if you use strong robust structures. I hope that makes sense, I explained about it in my other video in more details kzbin.info/www/bejne/l6W4oH17bMeLetksi=IuCVn1UMbEcBBjjw
