Well, "Athena". Getting their name from Greek Mythology goddess of wisdom of war, established in the late '90s by twin brothers Gökhan Özoğuz (vocals) and Hakan Özoğuz (guitar, back vocals) (the ginger and the one with the hat) was the first "punk-ska" band of Turkey. In their first years, their sound was more "hard punk" based, then they mixed it with ska and created a unique sound which was never seen in Turkey to that date and became one of the most popular bands in Turkey. They have encouraged lots of young musicians that they can be successful with their own style other than pop-culture. They have created best-seller records and albums throughout their career. They have changed the music industry in Turkey and they made a big impact. This is why they are so important. For more music of them, I advise; "Athena - Arsız Gönül" , "Athena - Kime Ne" , "Athena - Skalonga" (Their first hit!) , " Athena - Serseri Mayın" and lots of others...

This song didn't came out the 1st just because of this contest held just after the one Sertab won. 2003 was the Sertab year and this song was for the 2004 contest. I don't think they will award the same country back to back then.
