This is awesome, thank you so much! I especially like your "parameter tip", for some reason I didn't realize it because in my mind improvising and playing a pre-composed/pre-practiced piece was somehow(?) different, but just as I'm typing my comment right now, reading again the "pre-practice" and "parameter" are exist in both learning how to improv and in learning how to play a piece, I'm not 100% sure about the reason but my guess is that the "performing the piece by following pretty strict classical music performance habits / classical music culture(?)" got into my head too much, and it made my mind totally forgetting about even the existence of the box it's in, you really help to open the box, thanks again, I wish you a lot of energy doing a KZbin channel with 4 kids, I'm kinda going crazy with "just" 2, can't even find time to reply a comment sometimes, but at least I'm luckily not one of the daily 4 hours KZbin watching people (in the future it might become the norm tho, if haven't already), I will try the "parameters tip" today evening (if my kids decide to sleep in time) I hope you have a nice day!

My main goal is to be able to play from a lead sheet. (Pop, Country and Gospel) So reading music and music theory and improv are all important to me. (Will these subjects cover reading from a lead sheet and making the music sound full?) I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for your time!

I will totally make a video for exactly that. Practical ways to read and interpret a lead sheet would make a great video
