I wish there were wig wearing tutorials for people like me who are bald and have sensitive scalp due to chemo treatments.

Hey, I really appreciate your comment. I can't imagine what you're going through with chemo and a sensitive scalp. I want to help by creating a wig tutorial that's specifically designed for lovelies dealing with similar situations. Could you share any particular things you'd like me to cover? Your insights will make the video more helpful. Thanks for reaching out-I'm here to support however I can.

So sorry to hear this babe 😢, praying for you and you’re continued healing love. There are people who wear glueless wig units. You can search “glueless unit”. Some people use a silicone wig strap or a Velcro wig strap that fits around the head like a head band, and they are designed to keep the wig in place without having to use glue. Also there are people who can adjust a wig to fit your head. Hope that helps ❤❤❤
@The_Ki_10 ай бұрын
Just buy a wig grip and get a closure wig or a glue less frontal wig. The wig grip is a band you put around your head that it made of a material that won’t allow the wig to slide back and you don’t need adhesives to put it on. There are several black women who have made hundreds of videos to show different ways to put on wigs…im sure that’s how this KZbinr learned how to apply wigs as well

This video is so fun. I've never seen an individual with your level of melanin use what we call a smoothy brush, a hot comb, or lotta body mousse. Those are beauty staples in my culture. I love all of this for you! Your wig install was great. You mentioned fly aways and broken hair strands for your real hair. Wearing the wigs without the wig cap can be the cause of this type of damage so just be careful.

What if my hair is very curly/frizzy? There’s not much of it but what there is is a ton of baby hair and random broke off babyhair type pieces giving me a headwide halo. So there is always hair sticking up. Especially looks crappy with blonde wigs since my hair color is the same of yours. So how you deal withthat and how you deal with grids and dark lace would be interesting to know

@jasmineclarityy Жыл бұрын
Hey Mary! I'm thrilled you found the video helpful! For 'wear and go' wigs, you can actually leave the lace it comes with. It magically blends into your skin, giving a super natural look! As for cutting the lace on lace front wigs, it's a bit nerve-wracking at first, but you got this! I have tons of videos showing you how but here is one of them: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpWyc32uqNOerM0

If I had your hair beautiful bio hair I wouldn't mess with wigs. I do only bc of progressive hair thinning. With that being said I would also be a lot more delicate with your hair when you're trying to get it flat to your head before putting on your wig. That can cause so much pulling and hair fall out, which is too precious to people with hair loss. One more thing, this does not seem like a wear & go wig since there are so many steps to take before you can actually go, but it s a beautiful piece. I like the highlights in it and the dimension it creates.

Listen the bottom line here is hair not your color. As women we all have different hair texture, colors , length, and edges thinning, balding and yes supper kinky. Nothing to do with skin color. There is enough inter mixed races that cross hair texture. So yes being white we to have always worn ponytail and hair extensions. It is not us but social media picks up on money making issues. I feel black womens are always putting their hair issues out to the public and always complaining the world doesn’t understand their hair issues…. We’ll wake up there are women who are not black that have the same issues as some women who happens to be black. We are women PERIOD and we women need to stop complaining about what you think is only in your race but finding out women period have hair issues. So yes we Women wear wigs!! Period

Putting flammable products in your hair for decades is nothing to brag about. Don't forget that that is why Michael Jackson's head caught on fire. Also everything you spray in your hair also enters the lungs 🫁 I would only do this if I were getting married and would do it for that big day but everyday? Hell to the no.

Curious, what makes you wear wigs? You seem to have full hair and a great hair line
@jasmineclarityyАй бұрын
Oh my gosh, I love this question! 💖 So, my wig obsession actually started when I was, like, 12! Back then, MTV was everything, and I’d see all these singers and backup dancers with that thick, perfect hair. I wanted to be just like them, so I’d go on eBay, buy these little wigs, and dance around my room pretending I was a superstar. 😂 I was totally hooked from then on! Fast forward to when I started my KZbin channel. My daughter was 2 at the time, so getting ready to film was a struggle, and I was short on time because she was not in daycare. I had a few wigs lying around, but honestly, I was too nervous to wear one on camera. They were just these $20-$30 wigs, and I worried that if my friends saw me, they might make fun of me! But I needed something quick and easy, so one day, I just went for it. I splurged on two gorgeous, $300+ blonde Raquel Welch wigs-totally out of my budget, but I was so excited to look good and feel amazing on camera. So, I decided to film myself unboxing them, showing that pure, crazy excitement I feel every time I get new hair. And that video blew up with over 800k views! After that, I started to realize how many women-especially those dealing with hair loss-felt totally lost and overwhelmed when it came to wigs. They didn’t even know where to start! So now, even though I don’t need wigs, I wear them because I genuinely love sharing tips and helping other women feel confident and beautiful in them. 💕 What started as a fun little passion has become such an amazing way to connect with people and make a difference!

Had same experience. I’m sure when they send them to influencers, they don’t send those ones. I also feel i could make a video of tips I learned from installers and just doing. And this “wear and go” thing seems like “do stuff for 2 hours then go”. Especially for younger ppl in HS (do kids still start hs at 730am?) that just seems like Euphoria chick (the one obsessed with Maddie’s bf) level insane. One tip i can give: most important accessories are hot combs, wax sticks, and for having your hair underneath sweat and not stick up, fishnet wig caps. You just stick the cap around your neck and it even gives you a little fox eye lift when you pull it up to your forehead then you just spread your hair around evenly underneath, twist once, and fold back over. Can’t do the bald cap with it but I just wear a clear wig band around it if necessary.
@nicoleconley69612 ай бұрын
Same! In my opinion the caps ( even if xs) are way to big and shaped almost as if it’s got pockets in the cap, the hair was for sure not human it was absolutely a blend. It also took about 3 weeks for the delivery and the packaging had left a crazy dent and shape in the wigs also smelled like chemicals and was incredibly itchy

You think that wig only comes down to the top of the shoulder but it's longer than you realize at the back end sides it's really nice and suits you. I don't know what your natural hair is like or why you wear a wig. You are very pretty. I'm older thinking a bit more these days and I just wondered how much effort would go into having a wig. I have never tried one I don't know how long they last for or how much they would cost. If I was to invest in a wig I don't know if I could customize it for myself. So I think a wear and go would be for the best. I've always had really thick wiry hair and some people have thought my natural hair was a wig. 😂 I'm going through menopause and I sweat a lot and I need to know if I would be too hot and itch in a wig. People say that wigs make them sweat and itchy what do you think? Thank you for your help.😊
