Ofcourse she can aswell because we should have showers and wash regardless. Plates and people are not vehicles. Regarding houses, by that logic depending on how many people had visited that house; plumbers & construction workers, family and friends visiting and staying over for the night, postmen posting letters & dustben workers have largely decreased the houses value.
