Pastor Daniel, believing in the "personal experiences" to have faith in Christianity, is similar to the last Open Forum which I loved the epic point! Do you believe in Paul, who saw a vision but didn't ever meet Jesus pbuh or do you believe in the 12 disciples to base your faith upon? So this teacher sees a vision and it's his whole basis of throwing reasoning/books/true religion out the window. Unfortunately, this basis is not isolated in Christianity, as it is in all facets of different faiths, including Islam. I did enjoy his respectful conversation though :)

On Pastor Dan, he is using the same classic missionary tactic post-colonization era of converting people to Christianity by using the "personal experience" arguments to form a common ground as the first step in his missionary work. Once his target audience are agreeing with this "personal experience", he will then introduced the concept of the Trinity with Jesus being God and one can only connected to God by believing in Jesus as their salvation. This tactic is common in continents outside of Europe where people already have their own particular belief in God. This is also the reason why Christians from those continents will mostly talks about their personal experiences rather than the truth about God or the validity of the scripture.

That whole segment with Pastor Dan was purely him trying to argue that he should be allowed to present his life-changing experience as evidence, it should be accepted universally and no-one should challenge his beliefs. He had a spiritual event which is important to him, he wants to share it but he doesn't care about the fact that it is a personal, subjective thing. His feelings about it make it so important to him that he clearly feels it should be transformative for everyone else as well. He's obviously frustrated by the fact that it simply doesn't work that way when you present this to other people.
