Hes been gone now for nearly 10 years and never got to read the final saga of the LBJ books im afraid too! Ive read all volumes. The only book in this stratosphere is Doris Godwins Team of Rivals for brilliant political and in depth look at American pinnacle of power the POTUS but no one i mean no one no other author in history of the written word has captured such a character as Caro has he devoted his lifes work to leave a legacy. People will be reading these in a1000 years like we read Machiavelli and Cicero today
