I had a girl friend with an Orange Super Beetle. My first car was a 74 standard Beetle in darker orange with black bumpers and trim. I am an Oregon State Alum so Orange and Black was fine with me.

The 1973 Super Beetle looks like what I had, except mine was the light blue, but it had been painted some ugly yellow, so I had primed the car, the engine I had it repaired, it was like new, the transmission that usually pops out of gear was replaced, the last thing I did was replace the two bucket seats, the price was right Free in perfect condition, with the original black upholstery when I had the car, it had a Datsun, 280 clutch with pressure plate,🤔🤔🤔🤔
