Basically a space version of '3AM'. A slightly different version of this was played by KLF at Helter Skelter rave in Sept 1989 . That version is on youtube and titled 'Eternal Space Cadets (Orbial Hum)'... Both appear to be from Space sessions from 1989. Oh,,,,,,,What an amazing time and music !!!... I wish I could live it again. IMHO - then in the late 80s/90s the UK scene and country itself was buzzing/alive/vibrant , UK now is not such a happy place and music scene somewhere between dead and asleep stuck with dull dull music ..... Long live THE KLF ....please come back

Love it. But maybe the last great Orb tune? Although I would kill to see them live again. Missed an event this year. Hope they come back to this part of the world.

"Don't separate us, mother label" maybe? "Dr." Alex "Mr. X" Paterson and J. Cauty (The Orb 1989-1990) split up in 1990. J. Cauty wanted the The Orb album under production to be on his and Bill Drummond's label KLF Communications, while Mr. X wanted a separate label, so fans wouldn't get confused. KLF Communications had a big "KLF" logo. Mr. X left and released further The Orb releases on Big Life Records, known for "Doctorin' the House". J. Cauty finished the planned album himself, released as "Space" by Space on KLF Communications 8/1990.

Basically a vrsn of T.D.'s Love on a Real Train from Risky Business soundtrack..but still love it as I remember them beginning their set as I was peeing and I heard the rooster crow after some soothing sounds and a cool sample in Tampa99(?) - realized it was this years later..🤽

What is the sample from where the choir sings "after the love is gone... eternal..." or something like that? Does anyone know?

@@looeee haha wow, I didnt expect that... Actually, it doesn't have the "eternal" bit. It sounded very much like it was just one sample. Is that from the same Boy George's album or something? Or "Jesus Loves You" or whatever. Honestly I expected that sample to be from something from the 70s, like a Rankin & Bass animated film soundtrack or something like that. I guess this track just makes it sound a lot more solemn or something...

It's basically an early version of what would become The KLF's "3am Eternal". And the Jesus Loves You sample and "eternal" bit were also used on The KLF album "Chill Out"...along with most of this tune in the track "3am Somewhere Out of Beaumont". The link between the two artists being Jimmy Cauty :)
