The Orchid Show 2019: Singapore

Another Silly Video by Susan Kirby. The 2019 Orchid Show: Singapore, at the New York Botanical Garden, opened February 23 and displayed the flowers until April 28, 2019, in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. According to the NYBG Web site, “Developed in partnership with Gardens by the Bay and Singapore Botanic Gardens, the exhibition pays homage to the sites’ iconic Supertrees-dramatic vertical habitats, and famed Arches-a highlight of the National Orchid Garden.”
This video, part of the Contemplate This! series, was filmed on March 7 and April 3, 2019, and features a walk through the exhibition and closeups of the orchids and other flowers. to day most of orchid show are mainly a phalaenopsis exhibition. As the mericlone technic is easy to use , we will see a huge number of different colors or shape of phalaenopsis in the future. I think that orchids has lost its magic side since it has become a business .
