I'm doing the ORBDR south to north this summer and your series was very informative and well done. Thank you!

Glad to help . Hope you have as much as we did. Do yourself a favor and make sure you stop in for a night at Newberry Volcanic monument. Be safe out there and be careful for riders coming north. Not everyone follows the ride right rule. Good Luck ~GrizzLee

Fantastic series Griz...still trying to get used to your beardless face! Not sure a man can be called Griz with no beard! 🙂 I did parts of the route last year myself, then got hurt,🤕 yada yada yada. I'll be back. I think much like the CABDR-South, Sections 1 and 2 are just not my cup of tea, but the boxes have been checked. Moved up my retirement to this June 🤩. I can't take it anymore (same company you were at.) Our paths will cross someday. Love your work. Carry on good sir.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement. Yes, my fuzzy face comes and goes. One day I wake up and look in the mirror and off it comes. Then 3 weeks later it’s back 😂. At least the missus lines the beard. Send me a msg on Advrider (GrizzLee) . Maybe connect for a ride. Cheers. ~GrizzLee

Great work guys, too bad you didn't do the section 1, it's beautiful and not too hard, but it is desolate. But I understand, it comes a time that the go-home-itis takes over. LOL Once again, great work, and I enjoyed following your adventure through the ORBDR.

Numerous riders we met coming from the south stated that if they could do it over again, they’d skip section 1 as it was all desert rock and sand with no real interesting features. With that stated, Dr K wasn’t enjoying the desert. I loved it. It was a new riding experience for me and we didn’t have hot weather. In the end, It was a compromise between us. I personally would have preferred to have finished section 1. When I revisit the area, I will do so. I want go back and ride the Oregon BDR-x route there. Thanks for riding along. ~GrizzLee

@@RubiKonAdventures I understand. I come from another perspective, I love riding on the desert. I've done the beginning of Session 1, especially the Domingo Pass area, about five times, all before someone included it into the ORBDR. LOL Still, great to see you guys riding the ORBDR.

I've enjoyed watching your ORBDR series! What was the reason you guys skipped most of section 1? I've seen quite a few reports of guys complaining about the length and rocky section 1, but I really liked section 1 when we rode it mid July. We camped near Beaty's Bute.
