It takes guts to cover Mic Drop, as it has very distinct BTS characteristics (it is widely known how BTS' songs reflect their real life story and achievements), making it hard for other idol groups to cover their songs. My humble opinion would be, they should have put more expression, attitude, and aggression. Mic Drop is a diss song afterall. Sing it like you mean every word. Also, it would have been more meaningful if they sang it live?

I think emotional maturity is needed to capture the spirit of Mic Drop, and these boys are probably too young and have yet to go through the same experiences that BTS had in order to get the right feel.

Mic Drop and Danger are the BTS songs that made me ARMY during BWL era. So Mic Drop is very meaningful to me. Very good cover. All these guys did a good job but the one in the hat really stood out for me. And now I have to go watch the legends perform it.

They got guts to cover this legendary song. I hope next time they can show their full potential, and perform with less auto tune, and with the right song that suits them better. Mic drop, especially performance ver, is not an easy one to cover. Each lines shows how charismatic each of their voices are, so of course no one can cover them exactly the same (vibe, energy, voice, power, swag). But nice try bois. I wish you good luck.

They did well because that is a very hard song to cover...given that bts have such unique voices in mic drop........They need to improve on the attitude and presence though.....since they were not singing it live they should have put more effort on the stage presence
