I had to recognize how with silence, Chioma Chukwuka, delivered a stellar performance. I liked the Sound Design, God the attention to detail.😭, it was impeccable. The pictures where crisp, the lighting of this movie was awesome, not disturbing. See Tito, I carried this movie on my head because I really really loved this.

I enjoyed the new faces and they acted really well. The sound quality was good and we praise God for that. The storyline flowed well but the end was slightly falling apart. Overall, I enjoyed it.

The movie is good but there are just some implausible things like a student disappearing and students/teachers are not able to point that out. Maybe boarding schools are different in Nigeria but in Cameroon, that isnt possible at least in the school I attended. We had roll calls often and if no one could account for the whereabouts of a certain student, then everyone would have been up in arms. Other than that, it is a good watch. Those boys did a good job cos I felt like choking theme every time they came on the screen. Oh, that mother superior was the worst

You're right about the student going missing being implausible. That kind of thing is a big deal even in the 1990's. A student cant just disappear for days in boarding school here without there being a bit of a ruckus. I'm guessing in Chatper 2 things will escalate regarding that student's whereabouts and the fact that mother Superior is trying to cover up his disappearance. Good job Tito, i never get the mind to watch the movie, i didn't attend a boarding school, one of my close friends who did, usually tormented us with the stories then, even though i didn't think she experienced it 1st hand but mostly stories she heard. I have downloaded it but haven't gathered the courage to see it. Even with your review i never know oo...Well done always, good job.

I enjoyed this movie so well. Chuks Joseph (Lashe) was in Dark October movie produced by Linda Ikeji. The other students seem new to me. Shout out to Baba Fawole. His performance was awesome. Can't wait for chapter 2

I saw the first chapter and was made to wait for the second chapter and I am like, why? It’s not even all that? Waiting is totally pointless. If House of Usher which was spectacular could drop all 8 episodes; why is this made in Aba movie making us wait?

Hmm Tito I don’t know if I agree with you on this one. For me it was underwhelming. I think it was slow for a 1h40m episode; that’s the average 3 30m episode. For a story we all know, there’s nothing interesting to take away after 1h40m beside the context and characters. Lashe’s facial expressions and arrogance + squad goals was annoying lol. For me, his acting was cringe. In summary I didn’t enjoy it, finished it because I was watching with someone. It’s a 2.5/5 for me.(m
