For Cordelius, I think he is named after the “Cordyceps” fungus. Cordyceps is a fungus that literally turns small insects into zombies, and as you mentioned earlier, Cordelius has gone a bit mad from the toxicity of the mushrooms in the forest, almost as if he got zombified by the fungi, completely changing his personality. So his name for me is literally just a combination of the name Cornelius and Cordyceps.

For the new brawlers that came out after this video: Charlie: her name is based on the book/movie Charlotte's Web, and one of the most prominent characters in that book/movie is Charlotte, who is a spider. Mico: the "M" in his name would most likely be there no matter what since he's a monkey, but it might go beyond that. He attacks with some sort of "Mic", and tamarins, a type of monkey, are called "Mico" in portuguese (probably just in brazilian portuguese, as I'm not aware of that word in european portuguese), and this might work since Dani, one of the Brawl Stars community managers, is brazilian. Kit: nothing too deep here, I think his name just comes from the word "kitten". Larry and Lawrie (not out yet, but they've been announced): Lawrie's name comes from the word "law", since he and his twin brother are some sort of police officers in Starr Park, who obviously enforce the law. As for Larry, I think they just gave him a similar name to go nicely with his twins' (even though technically Larry is the main twin, since it's the one you play as).
