Did he say tetris 2 is unplayable? That's one of the best puzzle games. I loved it as a kid especially seeing all the pieces blow up when you clear a level. Man so satisfying.

2:23 ELORG is a good guess but is incorrect. ELORG was not directly involved in the creation of any version Tetris ever. ELORG was a Soviet agency created to license Russian state-owned software for distribution in other countries. Since Tetris was created in Soviet Times in Soviet Russia, it was the property of Russia, and therefore a cut of all sales of Tetris had to flow to the Russian government. This is essentially why Tengen's Tetris was deemed illegal. Tetris 2 + Bombliss for Famicom was published by Bullet-Proof Software and developed by Chunsoft - as in, the developer of Door Door and all the Dragon Quest games. Strange, yet they were the ones responsible for that. The very very pleasant music in Tetris 2 + Bombliss was composed by Dragon Quest's famous composer, Koichi Sugiyama. On the other hand, Tetris 2 for NES was published by Nintendo, but not developed by them. It was developed by shadow developer TOSE, and is one of many of their NES games that is substandard.

The guy who made this game's music, Koichi Sugiyama, is the same dude who composes the music for the Dragon Quest games.

Dragon Quest or Dragon Warrior? I think if he was composing NES games it would have to be Warrior.

Tetris 2 + BomBliss legitimately looks like an 8-bit demake of Tetris 64, but at the same time, it also feels like a forbidden bootleg that was never meant to be seen by mortal eyes lol.
