Thank you for sharing your story. It is difficult at times. I wish we (the vision impaired) could express our difficulties frankly without being dismissed or ignored. 😢

Hi there :) Thanks very much for this video ! I have strabismus as well ( intermittent distance exotropia) and my story is very very similar . I also struggle to read , have a tiny bit of motion sickness and absolutely struggle with stereo vision . My anxiety levels got to a point that my body started started creating non cancerous cysts and I had to risk my life 2 times to remove them because they would cause me blood cloths . Also , I just recently fell and broke my leg because of my stereo vision

That’s a rough story! I hope you can improve your vision so you can ameliorate these other side effects too! Good luck!

Some optometrists in my network tell me Heike Schuchmacher, MD is a great option in Germany... Although I know Germany is a big country of course. She wrote "Vision and Learning", and she based around Frankfurt.

If you did not have the surgeries do you think you would have tried vision therapy and do you think you could have beat espotropia. I read Susan's book but I am still not convinced she was are rare case or a particular case. She had stereo vision in only a few months of VT and did not seem to be a case like mine. (alternating esotropia with suppression)
