Damn. I don’t know if this is the highlight of the album but it’s still pumps in 2023.

@iamsukafree It would be a grand thing if they still kept the band intacted. Truly your correct in saying they can have their own separate ventures. From your lips/finger tips to Gods ears, let's keep our fingers crossed!!!!!
@bourgeoisbrats13 жыл бұрын
@iamsukafree I agree. There are about 3 guitar players that tour with George Clinton, that could cover (or even enhance) what Jesse contributes, playing-wise. Ernie Isley could do it too. Which Eddie Hazel was still alive...he'd definitely be the cat to "step into the slot" :-)
@chj23 жыл бұрын
REAL TALK! Eddie Hazel would DEFINITELY be a perfect person to fill in for Jesse. R.I.P.

DAMN!!!!!!!! I love Prince, but I gotta say this: Prince, whatever beef you had with these cats, you need to squash it, Bruh!!! Seriously - you and these cats are AMAZINGLY TALENTED, and y'all need to get back in each other's circle!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!! This album is definitely going in my iPod!!!! Thanks Morris, Monte, Jam, Lewis, Jerome, Jesse, and Jellybean!!!!
@kestrel900012 жыл бұрын
Damn it it would be great if something this 80s stuck sounding could fly. Maybe Urban AC? Why is this the first time I'm hearing this? These guys deserve a spot. I fucking love The Time. I don't care if they changed their name. Prince is a dick. We all know that, but we love him anyway. Let's get past the bullshit and get to the funk.

@chj2 PRINCE DID NOT HAVE A BEEF.HE WROTE 90z% OF T HEIR MUSIC..IT WAS A RIVOLRY HE AND MORRIS HAD..PRINCE WROTE HALF OF THE STUFF ON HERE..STAY UP..
@adrianboston84825 жыл бұрын
Know he did not write 90% . He played on the tracks and fix lyrics 20% he wrote .
@chj23 жыл бұрын
Prince felt threatened by The Time back in the day. I know that 90% of their old stuff (up until Pandemonium and after) were Prince, Morris & Jesse in the studio. Seems like Prince and Morris buried the hatchet somewhat right before Prince died. Prince WAS NOT involved with Condensate. Morris and his boys did Condensate INDEPENDENTLY. They reveal this on the Best Buy special edition release of this album. There's a documentary in the special release where they mention this.
@TheGbrizzl12 жыл бұрын
Be not deceived... Although Jesse is DOPE, he is by NO MEANS IRREPLACEABLE TO THIS BAND. They toured (and KILLED) for YEARS with other guitarists, and I'm sorry they couldn't work it out. Jesse is COOL. Jesse us BAD. But JESSE IS JESSE. JESSE ain't MORRIS.
@bradthomson48309 жыл бұрын
So...why are they called Original 7... is it because Prince is an A$$ and "Sony'd" them???? and btw Im a prince fan also.
@sagetscippio88787 жыл бұрын
Brad Thomson yep that's exactly why.
@cubdukat6 жыл бұрын
Brad Thomson The amount of control Prince exercised over all of his spinoffs is legendary. On most of the albums, the only thing not entirely Prince is the vocals; that’s certainly how it was with the Time for the most part...
