If you played actual Tenkaichi 3, you wouldn't have had as much of a challenge. The BT4 team upgraded the battle AI in the modded version of the game, making them significantly more difficult.

Hey seereax the main reason why the cpu was so easy in raging blast 2 was because you didn’t have the equipment max cpu on the character. Once you have and also there equipment for that character then they become god mode. So for example if you go to gokus item list you can equip max cup to make the cpu stronger and the goku equipment ( yes that’s what it’s called) to make goku alone stronger. If you want to know how to do that or have someone explain it better just talk to thunder because back in the day he did raging blast 2 vids so he probably know how to do it. Hopefully this helped 👍

I think Goku's, Buu's, Guldo, and Broly's cpu items are the most annoying to deal with. Goku, Buu, and Broly get pretty damn aggressive, and Guldo just hits you and runs away. Lmao

@uptownsega3394 I never experimented with items. I only ever tried to make them manga/anime accurate. Lol I think this one thing I preferred in RB1 over RB2 was the item system. Along with having so many more that was just cut from this game for some reason.

@@SeeReax the only thing is that the equipments are locked so I would suggest just modding the game to unlock them instead of wasting 4 hours to get. But I would assume you would do it for goku and vegeta but I would recommend getting the equipments for specifically ssj3 broly because the equipment for him makes him like one of if not the strongest cpu in the game.

Rageing blast 2 had crazy customization for a pre xenoverse game with big ass list of passive skills and alot of supers could be swaped out as well as aura colors and shit

The CPU difficulty in RB2 is dumped down but you can customise characters to the point to where they do insane damage, defense, health(and regeneration) similar to BT4. The characters had a power level limit to balance out what items you could put on but on the save file I got for RPCS3, those are removed and characters can be OP as hell. Not to mention that there's CPU presets you can give a character in the customise screen that define their behaviour.

Raging Blast 2 still holds up to this day as my most beloved DBZ game. It plays smoother than BT3, looks better, and even came with a little movie for fans to enjoy. I really hope Sparking Zero takes plenty of inspiration from it and isn't just another BT game.

For instance, if you knew that boosted flight wasn't the best way to close the distance, you wouldn't have made that comparison. Super dashing to your opponent, or super rising into a super dash, gets you there much faster than just trying to boost fly. The speed is there, my guy. It sounds like you're trying to demand it plays differently then insinuating the game isn't capable of speed when you're not using the techniques made for speed.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the title they use for International and US release, but the original Japanese version's title is "Sparking! Meteor", Budokai Tenkaichi 1 is just "Sparking!" and Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is "Sparking! NEO". You can even hear the characters saying Sparking! Meteor instead of Budokai Tenkaichi 3 if you choose the Japanese voice setting. So Sparking! Zero is the official BT4 (technically)

this is just me rambling but the term "budokai tenkaichi" isn't even correct, because the correct one is "tenkaichi budokai" which clearly used COUNTLESS times in the manga and anime. And I really don't get why they chose this name for the western release or decided to change the title at all. because from my point of view, i don't think people who exclusively watch the dub would be familiar with "tenkaichi budokai" because it's called just "Martial Arts Tournament" in the dub. and then there's also the fact that not only they chose a name that most people at the time wouldn't be familiar with, but they also chose a complicated one AND IT'S NOT EVEN GRAMMATICALLY CORRECT, LIKE, WHY. But all's well that ends well, i guess. but now i wish they'd also change sparking! zero's western release's title to Budokai Tenkaichi 4 for consistency's sake...

Rgb2 has an ultimate cpu difficulty. It’s an item you have to equip on which ever character you want to fight, so in this case you’d have to acquire the item then equip to goku, then pick the custom preset you equipped the item on.
