They were at the height of their performing talents at that time. Used to see them on Gospel Jubilee and had the privledge of seeing them in concert several times. One time a real bonus with The Floriday Boys; The Happy Goodmen; and The Hinsons at one of the concerts way back during 76 or 77. They did as good a job as any gospel or secular group with their singing and freedom of worship. Terrific.

In my very humble opinion, Kenny Hinson is the most talented gospel singer of all time, but Larry is certainly no slouch! And I totally agree with you both in that we could sure use more groups like the Hinsons today. I really do miss the Southern Gospel Music that I knew in the 60's and 70's. It was at its best then! Thanks for posting this Mr. Howell.

I love the Hinsons, especially Kenny. He sings so clearly and with much expression. I miss him. Will see him and the rest of the Hinsons in Heaven.
