@@maxkho00 The immortal is still the most famous game either way, i do see your reasoning behind saying the opera game "did it better" but that will always be an opinion-based claim. there is simply no denying that the immortal game is the most famous game though, as so many other games in history took on the name "blank's immortal" etc. even a quick google search asking what the most famous game is comes up as the immortal. regardless they are both great and phenominal examples for position being more important than material eitherway though.

I found Qf6 in a few seconds (of course finding that move isn't the impressive part; seeing this position so many moves ahead is). What's silly is in Blade Runner when they use this game, Tyrell calls this move ridiculous, even though after it's played it's plainly obvious you're getting mated next move. And he's supposed to be a genius.

Computers already have it basically figured out. Openings at the top level are all based on the memorization of computer research. Of course, people would still have to remember it all, but just in case they do, there are very fun variants of chess, like S-Chess, that make it much harder to calculate, and we can always shift.

It was estimated that there are 10^120 chess games (Shannon's number: 30 possibilities per player, average 40 moves (as in white moves then black) per game). There are 10^80 atoms in the observable universe. If you want to learn more, I recommend Numberphile's video about it.

i feel that i need to comment on this game.. i'm now 61 years old. i got really interested in chess about 12 years ago, before my Dad passed away.. But why do i need to comment?.. because this is the ONLY Chess game i have ever seen, in which i could picture something happening on the board, that blew my ,mind.. it was the two knights. and when that single pawn was placed in between them, i could swear it looked like he was closing a door or gate!.. the most beautiful single move in chess, next to the check mate of Paul Morphys greatest game.

The Immortal and evergreen games will never be duplicated. Both players with the black pieces never short castle and neither lasted 30 moves.

Fun fact: Actually in this game the player with the black pieces started the game (Anderssen), but we just see that from white’s perspective as we are regular to. #agadmator P.s. my chess teacher told me that

Really this game is simply awesome and how creative our ancestors were ,, really modern chess seems very boring and engines suck because all players following the engines move and forgetting their creativeness ,,# thanks agadmator for this game ❤️ from india

Yeahh ;!! The perfect examples for the modern masters who are trying to play like the engine stockfish... Their game may be perfect... But the taste of chess is quite missing now a days..😟😔

After watching this game years ago and watching so many games and even playing many good games myself, I came back to watch this again and the game starts with King's Gambit...!!! That's the very moment I felt that An Immortal Game can't get any better than this ♥️😍🙌🏼 Absolute beauty.
