It’s easier to acknowledge a woman’s beauty, accomplishments and glamour when they are long gone. I’m sure these women were scoffed at and demeaned by laypeople of their time for the same reasons the kardashians are today. And in a few decades history will just remember the kardashians as rich and pretty women, not all those bemoaning their “dignity” as if we have anything to do with it.

Hi 👋 have you met the sisters? Or perhaps someone you know who've told you? I always find it interesting to try and “put together” *the persona with the real person behind the persona* - don't get me wrong, it's not an interest of mine, but as of right now, watching this about the three Gabor sisters 👯♀️ makes me involuntary make the leap and make the connection between the daughter of Eva Gabor and her then husband who’s last name is Hilton (I hope I remember correctly) with the Hilton family, where Paris Hilton and her younger sister Nicki is the most known to me at least. This kind of harmless banalities is what makes my brain continues to work on overtime, without my consent 😂 and it's the differences between *the persona vs the person who obviously is there but is for some reason often the first thing many people who reach any kind of fame let go off* And, the fact that I've adhd isn't helpful in the slightest...😇🩰 (And yes, I'm in fact aware of that nobody asked me to write half an essay about *what maybe is best described as nothingness* - would you consider *nothingness* to be a valid concept and description of what I have written about above? I ask because English isn't my first language, and I don't live in an English speaking country either, which makes my conceptualization feel lesser than, had I written this in my own language. With kindness and respect, Grace✨✨🩰

@@Grace.allovertheplace For simply putting in the effort of your reply, there is great merit. Please carry on. As Mark Groubert has shown in his studies of the JFK assassination (easy to google), very deep dives into past personalities are exceptionally rewarding. The play remains the same. Only the cast and scenery ever changes.

My husband and I bought an absolutely dilapidated farm. His co workers teased him about his Green Acres (Eva Gabor) farm, complete with a tractor just like on the show and even had a wife named Lisa.

There are a few facts wrong here, Me Lord, Eva Gabor did not, to my knowledge, ever appear on the Beverly Hillbillies (1962-1972). (The poster (image) is for a bad movie of the 1990's, not for the television show). Eva Played Lisa Douglas on the series Green Acres (1965-1972), and made crossover appearances on Petticoat Junction (1963-1971). All three television shows were created by the same man, Paul Henning, and they ran on CBS mainly during the 1960's, not the 1980's. The shows did intermingle their cast members from time to time, but remained in their original characters. Not trying to trash your video, it was very informative, just gently correcting the facts.

I think he was referring to the Beverly Hillbillies live-action film in the 90s but that wasn't Eva who appeared as it was Zsa Zsa.

Points of information on Eva. Eva Gabor srarred in the popularvTV sitcom Green Acres from 1965-1971, co-starring as Lisa Douglas, wife of the main character. Green Acres is still in rerun. in 1993, she appeared in the TV movie; she never acted or appeared in the original TV series The Beverly Hillbillies.

The Gabor sisters' mother was Jewish. I always wondered if that was where the "Darlink" pronunciation came from. This video was a nice start on their lives. These women were very complex and quite amazing how they were able to maneuver their way through Hollywood and the many husbands and romances. Zsa Zsa was the most iconic. She still inspires the work of plastic surgeons. I miss them more and more with each year! They say that Hungarians have paprika in their blood, these women are a testament to that! 🔥🔥🔥
