Great message; one correction though: The suffix -ed DOES NOT mean to "to be without the base word". As another NOI minister put it once: the suffix -ed means to "take out of"; this is not accurate. The spirit is right, but the information is incorrect. When we make a mistake like this in public, we must be corrected in public so that the people are not led wrongly. Bro Nuri does not intend to lead anyone wrongly. He made an error; that does not invalidate the Truth he is doing his best to represent. The suffix -ed forms the PAST TENSE of the verb. In the example he gives: boned. The verb "bone" itself means to remove bones. "Boned" is the past tense of to bone. You can say "I will bone" - future tense; "I am boning" - present tense; "I boned" - past tense. But the action comes from the verb itself. Likewise, "colored" man does NOT mean color was taken out of the man; it means a man was once one thing and was "colored", in that white was not the original color of the man. Color is, in this case, a verb, not a noun. Color-ed being the past tense of the action of coloring. May Allah forgive us ALL for our errors AND our mistakes. Keep your eyes on the Man of God in our Midst, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, who is HUMBLE enough to accept correction. I have seen him correct mistakes he makes easily and quickly once it is pointed out to him; he has no shame AT ALL in being corrected. We must be the same way.
