So good to see this after so many years. I was a kid when this game came out and I loved it. I remember really taking hold of the newbie family, embracing his poverty, filthy appearance, and role playing him out to be a wife beating, alchoholic asshole. If i remember correctly Betty called the police quite often. Good times.

Aw man, I always pictured him as a lovable slob. Kinda slow, kinda lazy, but he's just super comfortable with who he is and gets along with almost everyone.

nostalgia ;) I remember one trick, that when you do not follow instructions Bob's and Betty's needs will not go down. So before you complete the tutorial, you can teach them all skills to maximum, not worrying about food, sleep etc ;)

Yes, the music was my favorite part of The Sims, especially the soundtrack from Vacation.

You can always remake them in your own game. I've made versions of The Mashugas both in Sims 3 and Sims 4. :-P

Which song? At the start of the credits (with the clouds), or the latin music playing with the Newbies? The latin music is from the Sims 1 soundtrack. The credit music is from an old version of Windows Movie Maker (?) or whatever that was called.
