I have to admit I was so happy for these flashbacks and them two flirting with each other. It was bittersweet. Them two were so adorable with one another. You can definitely see the love in Hayley’s eyes. And Elijah was feeling the connection as well which is why he said maybe next life. Hayley told him she will be waiting for the next dance. So it is destined that these two are meant to be and are soulmates. Haylijah is ENDGAME. Only thing that really upsets me is that Elijah knew her and he could’ve saved her. That broke him while he came to realization as he was telling Klaus. It was killing him. All that guilt. He really misses Hayley and feels that he doesn’t deserve happiness. So I genuinely believe that the route the writers are going is that Elijah will make the ultimate sacrifice to save Hope so he can finally be happy and at peace with Hayley. She is afterall waiting for the next dance 😍💕

Even I like to idea of the next dance between them I still can't handle the idea of Elijah's dying.They were my favorite couple in the Originals. I love Elijah more in the Originals. Because of his love for Hayley. Still seeing Elijah's dying will crush my heart. And my heart already broken by episode 8.

This episode was a tease to haylijah fans I appreciate scenes of them but Elijah sees a deed for a house Hayley obviously but for her future with Elijah. Meaning when he came back she was planning on getting him back someway they could’ve finally been happy and had their peace as a family. The writers ruined them I hope they get their dance in the afterlife but still I wish they both could’ve been alive.
